That's to go along with the rest of the team representing Uncanny X-Men #275 (the training outfit 3 packs and retro Wolverine). Although, it's actually not Xavier wearing that, but a Skrull. Wouldn't expect people to necessarily know that, just something I find humorous.

Hasbro ideas house, if you're lurking, there's a second side to that cover that features some of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard....would be awesome to get some more of those. Oracle, Manta, Hussar, Starbolt, Smasher, Warstar (BAF)..Gladiator and Fang are getting lonely.

When he and most of the xmen went to aid lilandra he took up a new persona and costume. Its also when the team wore those blue and yellow strike team outfits.

Yup that's the one I'm thinking of too. Those I listed are just the ones I'd want most...there's plenty of others I'd like. Basically I'd take any named/semi-important IG members - basically if they did something of note and had at least a couple of appearances. Mentor, Titan, Hobgoblin and a whole slew of very obscure members.

Unfortunately, realistically outside of some exclusive set like an SDCC set, I can't see more than just Oracle and maybe Warstar as a BAF getting made.

yes I am aware of those blue and yellow outfits they wore since they were shown on that one issue back then. I just want to know why and what for Xavier wore that silly outfit with the cape and metal mask making him look like a cheap imitation of Stryfe.

I never read the original story arc but I used to have the old Toybiz yellow and blue training outfits Wolverine figure

Fair enough. A Skrull replaced Xavier as Lilandra's consort in order to throw the Shi'ar empire into chaos or take it over (can't remember which). There was never a reason stated for that particular outfit but the assumption is that it would have been appropriate for the royal consort.

I agree about looking like Stryfe, I mean, it's extremely close in design.

Wait, I don't remember him being a Skrull?????

Guess I'll have to wait until I reread that section next year.

I wouldn't qualify $40-$50 as crazy expensive especially since regular legends are near $30 these days.

I just checked Ebay and he's being sold for as low as $51.95 plus shipping to as high as $149.99 plus shipping. On Amazon, he's being sold for $99.99. It just depends on who's selling him and where, I guess. I still stand by saying that he needs an update though, especially for new collectors.

Also, I got an email yesterday that I can finally expect my "Marvel Legends" 'No Way Home' final swing Spider-Man figure in September after getting him ordered in January. At least he's finally on his way.

Hmmmm, I have three of him, so maybe I should sell one of them off for that price.

Yep, get to work ASAP on any joint even acts like it doesn't want to move smoothly. For the hips, I popped the legs off and started smoothing out the ball joint. I shaved off most of the detents with my pocket knife and then used a hobby file to get the rest. I also shaved down the bumps on the back of the knee and the inside of the elbow joints so that it wasn't so hard to move them. Most other joints received shock oil to move smoothly. You'll want to sand/file on the ball joint for the head. You'll also want to sand/file/shave the socket inside each head so that you can swap heads easily.

Good sweet lord. All that work really makes it seem like hasbro really needs to rethink their approach.

I gave both of my Final Swing Spideys a warm bath when I opened them and that was it. One of them gets handled pretty often (it's one of my favorite spidey figures) and no issues whatsoever. So I guess it just depends on the figure.

It's probably something off in the process of that figure, kind of like the issue Matty had with the MotU Classics Goddess figure, where the majority of them broke because of an issue with the mold injector

in my opinion Hasbro should have just used the Homecoming Spider-Man body for final swing. no drop down hips which seems to be the cause of breakage for people and it feels better to pose too.

I just bought a great deal of all three What If? zombies for $28. Now if only I had a good action figure of Thriller Michael Jackson I'd be all set.
