Like on the Hammond Collection Spinosaurus, It has a thin bendy tail then covered in a very pliable pvc skin, so it has the girth the tail should while also having greater bend than you would expect.
I didn’t buy it on principle. I saw the original Dragon Man at retail all those years ago. I held it in my hand and thought about the purchase, but I ultimately put it back deciding not to buy it. When I went back, there were no DMs left, and I immediately lamented not nabbing it the day before. I’ve had many opportunities to grab one, however, and this where the ‘principle’ kicked in, if I couldn’t get it for the original price then I wasn’t going to pay after market. I know this sounds strange, especially considering the number of things I have purchased that were equal in value to whatever the going rate for Dragon Man was throughout the years.

I've finished putting together my Marvel shelves, at least until I get another case. Anything I can't fit is pretty much getting sold off as I no longer need the excess baggage. Although, I might get rid of Alpha Flight if I can get a good offer on them as the plastic quality sucks.

I found Sue, Reed, and Johnny at Walmart like a week or so ago and Ben was delivered from Amazon today so I opened the whole team at once. Both Ben and Reed have some misaligned paint apps on their belts but other than that everything feels clean and sharply done. Herbie would've been a great inclusion somewhere, maybe with Sue or Johnny since they had some unused box space compared to Ben and Reed.

Technically I don't have the original Dragon Man either. I forgot to mention mine is a knockoff I got for $40 on AliExpress a couple of years ago. The differences are negligible. That is heartbreaking though to have been there and left it behind. I still hold out some hope of one day owning the Hulk Classics Mecha-Hulk.

Got both of these today from my GameStop preorders. Seeing both in-hand makes me really appreciate the effort and extra steps Hasbro takes with their female figures.

Hopefully they do a redo of the comic FF Walgreens exclusive…Don’t need to do that much maybe pinless joints, different head sculpt for Mr. Fantastic and an all new mold or a recent nice female mold for Sue…I would definitely be on board for that…

Note: Madam Mystique , Psylocke, Linlandra, She-Hulk, and Warbird have been some great female figures as of late….

lmao A 2018 figure for a 2025 price. Figure includes no improvements or anything to justify the $10 price increase.

Never was able to obtain this version of Doom with the soft goods…I’m so glad that this was a reissue…It seems like this figure is a hit at Pulse, sold out already!

I am always curious about the differentiating notes on KO's. What were the differences?

Mecha-Hulk needs a Marvel Legends figure for sure, in the same look as the original Toybiz figure.

My She-Hulk is supposed to be here Friday barring the city messing up the delivery.

There's better paint on the inner wings of the original. There was a little plastic flashing on the shoulders of my KO that I easily trimmed off with an x-acto knife. The ko is a slightly paler shade and some of the plastic is glossier. His wings fall out easier. Also the paint hits on the real Dragon Man's eyes, teeth, and mouth are only slightly better. Again negligible differences that you only notice when side by side and stare at obsessively. At least enough that I sleep comfortably knowing I didn't spend $500 owning it. I think I saw it for $50 last I looked and I'd say that's a good deal, but go through AliExpress because on eBay it's like $80.

I think there was some rumor list that mentioned a Mecha-Hulk for next year but who knows? As it is, that ToyBiz figure is an original creation of the toyline so who's to say what that would even look like. Would it also be some sort of a mech piloted by Gargoyle because that would be pretty epic.

Thanks for the soup to nuts breakdown. Yeah, the Dragon Man KO seemed to be one of the more popular, behind, maybe, Spidey Hulk. I think, at one point, even the KO of Spidey Hulk drew high dollar amounts.

Not exactly KO related, but check out this...whatever it is..

https://www.ebay.com/itm/35636385608...Bk9SR4iwh5KUZg

Is it a KO if it's 40% larger? 'Upgrade' doesn't quite fit either..

I think that was Cosmic Hulk on the rumored leak list, not quite the same as Mecha-Hulk from my point of view.

I guess that's alright but a little disappointing. It's probably got just a half robot face and if we're lucky maybe a new robotic arm on the same hulk as always.
