I'm not a big fan of the 1/100 figures, so I'm not too enthusiastic about this line, but it seems like a cool idea.

gundam figures are detailed to crap, but I hate the idea of spending hrs building it, like lego. and I hate the scale if these bad boys were like 12'' or 18'' would be sweet, but I refuse to pay $100+ for a detailed 3-5'' figure I have to put together myself and in some cases, sand and paint, no thanks, rather pay $80-100 for a moc deadpool ML figure

Dude you don't have to put the metal build figures together at all, they are already built, and size is 6"+. The ones you have to build, are the plastic model kits, AKA plamo. Figures from metal build, Robot Damashii, and GFFMC are already put together and ready to play with out of box. Also they are already painted.

The 1/100 plamo of the 00 Gundam cost far less, due in part because of higher production runs and coming unassembled.

If Bandai makes an MG 00, would you rather get that? Asking because I think that and the 7 Sword MSV are likely in MG. The METAL BUILD is expensive, at least $150 before shipping(then again, the GFFMC Unicorn is pricey too).

i've thought about it. just so i could have the exia, 00, and quanta in the same scale as gunpla. but i don't see an mg seven sword in the future anytime soon. it just seems like it would be going backwards for bandai at this point. that said i thought the quanta would share the same frame with exia and it's completely different...so what do i know.

but i didn't answer your question. i enjoy painting, lining and building gunpla. however, after building the pg 00 raiser (it took me three months) i think i done with that mold. so i guess i'd rather have the metal build. it'll be cool to see it next to the others. to note/enjoy the differences and similarities. but damn...for all that yen i hope something lights up. give me glowing gn drives!
