Que?

Yes, I want the Marvel Universe Ultimate Gift Set, which should already be at our Walmarts, but isn't. Anyone seen one yet?

It's a set of 5 figures in one gift pack, Iron Man, Wolverine, Thor, Spider-Man and Captain America. There are currently 4 at the Academy/Wyoming Walmart, $29.98 each.

Wow! Good thing I wouldn't be able to shop there, otherwise I'd be extremely jealous! I still need a yellow dragon myself!

I guess that means you're in the Air Force?

Yea, he's hard to find man! That's the price I'm destined to pay now that you've found the last one locally, lol.

Unless of course someone over on The Fwoosh has one ready to trade. I'm not able to trade over there yet, so I'm hoping for some awesome new connections...

Found the new 6 inch classic thundercats figures at the target in Las Cruces this past weekend. They were not on the floor, an associate pulled them from the back for me. Lion-o's facial expression isn't as bad in person as I thought it would be and Mumm-ra is simply badass. If anyone is looking for these here's the DCPI for them 087-06-0931.

Nice! I'm jealous of your NM travels. I'd love to be able to get back to El Paso sometime.

Have you seen Wave 17 anywhere in the state? Northern NM is still missing out, sadly.

Not yet, but they've got to be lurking in some target stock rooms for sure. If I see any I'll let you know.

My local walmart just put out a new case of modern 6 inch thundercats this morning that had the following:

Cheetara X 2
Lion-o X 1
Panthro X 1

They also put out a case of the 4 inch figures and a case of the new 6 inch classic figures. My store hadn't carried any of these lines before, but with the reset this month I suppose they now will. Getting these locally is nice!

Pow! Comics on the west side is the only LCS who ordered the Gambit & Warlock comic packs. They sold 4 cases in a matter of hours, or so I'm told.

Both TRU's have put out the Avengers toys, but the 3.75" ones are already gone. I saw a case of Legends at the East TRU last Wednesday, but when I went back after work, they were completely decimated.

The DCPI checker for Target says the Roswell Target has the Legends figures. Here's hoping they make their way North this week...

Speaking of the new Marvel Legends I was in El Paso yesterday and I picked up a set at Target. It was a variant case and I picked up everyone except the extra stealth iron man and Thor since I have the comic-con version already. I have to say that I'm very impressed with the paint and sculpting on these figures.

Hey Pete, are you going to be collecting these as well or just the Marvel Universe line? I never collected back in the toybiz days, so it's nice to be able to start a collection without having to resort to ebay.

Marvel Universe has been pretty dry. Since finding the Storm/Psylocke wave I haven't seen anything new. I have the Mr. Sinister/Gambit pack pre-ordered with BBTS, with the price increase getting it from them and having it drop into the POL was cheaper than ordering these from either TRU or HTS.

I really can't decide. I don't want to start a whole new line that's been out for many years, but these things are really nice looking, and the characters seem more off the wall than the MU ones, who keep going back to the big 5 just about every other wave.

MU looks great for this year, and I was looking forward to being 100% complete pretty soon, but these darn Legends look pretty sweet. I especially like the BAFs.

I've seen the Bullseye/DD pack a few times sporadically, but never sinister yet. Have yet to see Storm/Psylocke at retail in the city though I keep checking...
