If thats what they are worth to you but I would not pay hundreds of dollars for She-Ra figures from Netflix, or any figure for that matter. Its not worth it. There is always Origins which I will stick to

Perhaps the other figures in the Masterverse line will fit with Classics, that are not based on the Netflix show.

Let me see if I understand correctly there will be 2 TV series and 4 toy lines?

Those being:
Origins
Kids show line
Revelations adult collector line
And Kevin Smiths show line

Those were limited runs made by Super7. These will be mass produced by Mattel so they should be more affordable even on the aftermarket.

totally agree. that was a surprisingly great show too for a lot of reasons and deserved so much better.

I have been looking at it more. Why are he-man & battle cats heads so small. Battle cats mask looks like it's not on right. But the he-man & battle cat from the other show looks great.

@ mods; how can I know someone replied back to my comments at this site? I don't see the TFW2005 type options here.

Is the Masterverse line based on 200X?

Blurry pics? I'm sure hi def images will look better. Plus pro-like fan posed shots will help.

Maybe in hand they'll be better? zero interest at the moment though. They don't have that over the top muscled-up vibe that makes Masters so awesome, had a feeling these would suck.

Mattel finally uses double jointed elbows & dbljnt'ed knees on muscle bound figures. Hopefully double ball pegs for their heads.

But I like the new Masterverse figures especially that 200X SKELETOR. :-D

Actually this is what TFW2005 was like when I joined in 2013.

That option doesn't exist on the forum software we use on Toyark as it's set up now. The best I can offer at the moment is that you can subscribe to threads to get updates on replies.

It's equally infuriating that anyone finds that She-Ra show to be "excellent".

Don't really like the esthetics and maybe it's a good thing since I will could save for MOTU Origins.

Hum, I´m worried... I hope these figures are just the early prototypes or the photos are really really bad.

If these are the final products I will stick with Origins line.

To me:
* The Battlecat looks like is pooping.
* The He-man and Skeletor looks like went tho gym only once or twice a week.

I wish Netflix's Saint Seiya show had gotten some figures. But I guess like She-Ra it just wasn't "classic" enough to appeal to the older fanbase of these shows, and kids probably don't watch Netflix or cartoons in general to care.

The way it's set up, it's hard for Netflix shows to gather attention from the right toy buying crowd in general. Voltron came closest so far to having a successful toyline, but really it was just that the Lions came out of the gate hot while ultimately the rest of the line suffered and eventually disappeared.

Mattel is going to try at least with MOTU, but with there already being another MOTU line out right now I don't know if these figures are going to make enough of an impact to get more than a few waves and sets out of them.

Yeah right! Lol. I started there in 2006 when I first got online, and I was already a full grown young adult by then. Before Youtube was bigger than 2" x 4" and a year before we even saw images of the movie bots yet lol. All we had was a Bumblebee movie style Optimus Prime truck as a stand in for what's to.come.

I think the company spokesperson got it backwards and the Masterverse figures are made to look like a new cartoon. Most likely the Filmation Kevin Smith "continuation after" cartoon. Skeletor and He-Man are the same but drawn incredibly differently. I dig Skeletor.

If companies want their toys to sell in relation to cartoons they need to put the cartoons back on over the air channels weekday afternoons and saturday and sunday mornings, especially in this current tv climate where many are even cutting streaming services. Thats how they gathered so much attention in the 80’s, 90’s and very early 2000’s.

Actually kind of fitting to mention that. I still say this line takes a lot of nods from the 200X series.
