You're completely right and I missed that in annoyance, but

y'all are missing the point.

This is the second time I've read whoever writes these ad copies for the NECA Mirage figures injecting their own fanfiction.

Yes, I know, I've read the Mirage Compendium. I was doing a basic, bare bones explanation to be quick and not give all of the spoilery details.

However, it never dawned on me that they were using the Japanese way of speaking names by putting the last name first, so thank you for that. In fact, the cartoons never said Oroku was his last name either.

Cartoon is very inconsistent. Some episodes have Saki be his given name, but most have Saki as his last name, to not screw with the brains of western children. Biggest culprits are the episodes with Shredder’s mom Miyoko Saki and little brother Detective Kazuo Saki.

That might be where I ended up thinking Saki was his last name then.
