It seems both the pony's and the petshop have gone anime. But I like the fact that Hasbro shrunk down the product. The smaller size lends itself better to playsets.

My wife doesn't really like the Ponyville stuff too much. Unless it's themed, like christmas or Easter. She's more into the restyled full-sized Ponies.

Well the bigger stuff is more classic, and I can understand the preference for those. But from a playvalue point of view the smaller ones make sense.

Oh I agree. I know the younger girls love them. Parents too, they're less expensive and great stocking stuffers too.
