I'm usually a "live and let live" kind of guy when it comes to children's cartoons, but everything I've seen about this looks offensively stupid. To take it one more dramatic step further, I could actually see it hurting the Mega Man brand.

Not sure about the show yet, but I really don't mind the design of this. Since Jakks has gotten better over time, this line might not be so bad. Here's hoping for some Robot Masters.

To be honest, I'm not sure how it could hurt the brand when capcom seems hell-bent on not doing anything with it. The first thing I thought when I saw this was "maybe they'll finally make a new game".

The redesign isn't bad. Has promise. Curious what the show and toys will be like.

I'd buy it provided it included the original Japanese version.

I don't understand why we keep calling those ugly 3D shows, "cartoons".

AS for the toys themselves, well since the character designs are ugly (like all animated shows nowdays), I don't think the toys will be any better.

It would have been awesome if this new show done in classic animation and in Osamu Tezuka style. Seriously, though, both American and Japanese character design have become awful, we need to go back to basics like 20's-40's cartoon styles.

There's really no need to turn this into a "How dare you have an opinion" thread.

I'm not. I'm just having a laugh because I find extremely overwrought posts about how everything modern is terrible to be hilarious.

Yeah and I assume you don't have any understanding nor admiration to character design art. Current modren character desgins are inferior to older ones. It's not about being old, but rather being knowledgeable and with taste.

This stupid thread is not worth the effort to get back on track.
