For a second I thought it was yet another Hot Toys Iron Man figure.

Looks nothing like any Ultraman I've ever seen. Looks like an Iron Man armor like Dolemite said, even Ultraman have to wear armor now?!?

This might make a nice articulated figure on a smaller scale. Reminds me a bit of Brandon Routh's Atom costume, if Ultron wore it.

That's because this is the Manga Ultraman from the currently serialized ongoing series. It's been adapted to English by Viz Media since earlier this year. This Ultraman is the son of the original original human host of Ultraman. His suit allows him to access the "Ultra Factor" powers he inherited because of his fathers exposure to the original Ultraman.

There already is one. The S.H. Figuarts X Ultra-Act Manga UltraMan. It came out several months ago actually.
