It's good to know that, if these first four sell well, that they have the freedom to expand the Classics line in all different directions. Also, I like the inclusion of the manhole covers. That's a nice touch.

I wonder how big these guys will be in comparision to MU, I know the classic line looks to be 5'' scale but I'm thinking the foot soldiers could be a neat army builder, or would look badass having a bunch of foot soldiers with shredder sitting on a throne, like the one used in MS Doom.

I like em. Very cool. Thing is, I think they should have made more of a change to the packaging. I think if you placed the 25th figure next to the new ones in package, you wouldn't see enough of a change to stand out and say " Wow! Are these new?!?"

New turtles need even newer colloer packaging. Other than that, I'm in.

Oh and the NECA turtles rock.

It would be nice if they at least made all the original line up of figures in classics line.

If I'm not mistaken, the Classics have been confirmed to be 6" tall figures.

You're not mistaken..

"Leo, like the other 6" figures in the line, features around 30 points of articulation including dual-hinged knees and what appears to be a ball-joint torso. Not too shabby..."

Should blend in nicely with DCUC & MOTUC's sizes if that's the case.

While I understand the point you're making, I would disagree with that for one reason. The Turtles aren't human sized. In the cartoon, they were always about a head shorter (or more) than any human character.
If the turtles and Splinter were 5", while April, Shredder, Rocksteady and Bebop were 6", then *I'd* say they'd fit it nicely.

As a person who desperately doesn't want to start collecting another series, I'm amazed at how bad I want these classics.

They're beautiful!

They do, but they're also shown packaged with the new basic line:

They're even on plastic sprues, like in the old days.

Going off of the videos, it actually looks like the Classic Mike will be the one who gets paint and chains on his weaons.

I say bring on the Classics Mighty Mutanimals! Wingnut & Screwloose, Mondo Gecko, Man Ray/Ray Fillet, Leatherhead, Dreadmon, and Jagwar!

Would also kill to finally see a toys of Ninjara and Armaggon, and updates of Metalhead and Mona Lisa.
I always wanted a Cuddly the Cowlick vehicle, when I was little.

I look forward to buying the Classics Turtles. Splinter, Shredder, April, Casey, Bebop, Rockstready, Krang, Baxter, and some Foot Soldiers best not be too far behind. And some mousers.

^Correct. The Turtles were all 5'4" and 5'5".

I see what you're saying. They'll be the same size, but not "in scale" with them.

Were the 80's the golden age of cartoons or what? There's a killer line for almost every popular cartoon from that era. Glad I'm not the only one who was brainwashed by TRU's slogan of not wanting to grow up and being a TRU kid forever. Both of these new TMNT lines look almost too good.

Hell yes, I remember walking into TRU and running over to that TMNT display they used to have. It was a gigantic plastic box with a diorama of the playsets, figures, and god only knows what else. I used to beg my mom to buy a figure, but eventually that figure would "die" and end up buried in my yard. Life got pretty real for my TMNT figures man, if you didn't pull your weight you got buried.
