So we've seen avengers and now for iron man 3 to fly back to the screens in 2013, there have been new characters announced ! Will contain spoilers So keep away from link although sounds very interesting.

SE, excited to see again , great actor and has been involved before although no idea on how they will make him fit in

and RS, not to keen on role really ashamed about that and isnt as good as 1st

Man this shit is gonna be dope. What is it about comic book movies that make us constantly contradict ourselves? We will always complain about who ISN'T in a movie when you know damn well they probably shouldn't be there anyway. Then we will complain about who IS in a movie when we don't even know the script or how long the character will show up. I'm not directing this at you, per say, but it's a comic book movie. It should have random ass characters popping up here and there. That's why Avengers was on point. Fuck conventional wisdom and just enjoy what these guys are giving you. Living comics bro. And who's to say he will be Red Hulk? IMBd may have just got cute and listed that the way they wanted. I know his Falcon connection but we know nothing to be honest.

I'm still trying to figure out how Yelena will fit in, considering Natasha is already working for SHIELD as Black Widow, yet I didn't see ScarJo in the credits.

This is supposed to take place post-Avengers, right?

Yeh, from what I understand IM3 takes off where Avengers ended, then after the movie will have a credit giving a sneak at Cap2, then that movie will sneak to Thor2, which will sneak to Avengers 2.

Why in the heck would they bring back Sam Elliott? Hurt did an awesome job. And while I would love to see Red Hulk in this, I would be shocked if he actually was. This smells funny.

You also tried to assure us that Rhodey wouldn't be wearing the Iron Patriot armor in this movie despite sources from the movie (stunt man wearing the suit) confirming the actor intended to be wearing the armor.

Its likely that these actors will be introduced in this film (Sam Wilson, General Ross), well Ross will just be returning to the Marvel movie verse, but their superhero aliases will not. Its likely Falcon will not be seen as Falcon until Captain America 2 but will have some good interaction as Sam Wilson here. General Ross will probably have some conflict with AIM and the Inteligencia and that will lay the ground work for him becoming Red Hulk in a future Hulk movie or Avenger movie maybe.

But, we'll see what Marvel has to say about this at SDCC next week. Who knows.

that True , but didn't anyone here the rumour that Stan lees cameo was going to be him wearing the suit ??? besides i'm not all knowing just sharing my views on how silly it was to make War machine wear a patriot armour also looking back at the pics i saw a rocket launcher oh wait a hang on i just noticed there inst another gun that looks like a mini gun ! So its impossible yh iron man 2 he didnt have a 4 or 6 or 8 sloted rocket launcher but he still had 1 rocket , anyway. Yes i too want to see what marvel has to say and im pretty sure i said that i will eat my heart out if rhodey wears the suit Your forgetting that other people have mentioned about Sam Elliot being casted in the film.

Yeah I edited in some additional comments on Sam Wilson and General Ross because I didn't want to double post. But basically I don't think its farfetched that they are in the movie only that I think it's farfetched that they will be in their superhero aliases in this. I think its a dumb move in General to include the Red Hulk in this or any future marvel movies because I just think he's a lame character in general and would seem like a gimmick to non comic readers who like the green hulk after seeing Avengers.

But I do believe Sam Wilson is definitely getting a cameo at the very least as the Falcon which will get audiences acquainted to him in Cap 2 since Falcon is a big part of the Cap legacy in my opinion.

I would think it'd be easier for them to do Arnim Zola first, especially since he was in the first Cap movie and they showed the designs for his eventual "body" on his workbench. But maybe while reforming Hydra, he/they work(s) to bring back Red Skull too.

I would of been more than happy with just the Mandarin. Still sounds like a gong show, trying to fit to much stuff in. Agreed with a lot of posts saying we don't know the full extent of the characters and where they fit in, they could just be cameos. I would like to hear something about AIM doing some work for Russian OPS to bring back Winter Soldier or something for Cap 2.

He is gonna be in Cap 2 also. The beauty of Continuity in the current Marvel Studios movieverse is that you can have these characters present themselves in any of their movies via cameo appearance or supporting role as long as the story calls for it. Plus its a good way to introduce the character to a wider audience since Iron Man will likely attract more viewers than Captain America 2 will worldwide.

You guys do know that cast lists on IMDB regularly turn out to be bullshit, right? Particularly this early in production when rumors are flying and little or nothing is being confirmed.

This sounds like a bunch of rumormongering. If you read the comments section people are already calling the cast list baloney. Anyone can edit IMDB. It's like a wiki that way.

Not to mention the movie is sounding like it's going to be a complete mess unless most of these roles are walk-on cameos or "unnamed" cameos.

Like I said, putting these characters in for anything more than a cameo would be silly. Im fine with General Ross making an appearance since Iron Man tends to get approached by the military every now and then, however, Red Hulk should never make it to the Big Screen IMO. I think this is just a fabricated cast list by a fan.
