Hey guys! Thought I'd post a bit of my collection too since they're all sitting right above my computer. What I really need to get is that Spawn Alley playset. Good lord does that thing look good with 1:18th scaled stuff.
![]() Primary display collection. I used to have Daredevil, Punisher, Namor, and Moonknight in there but waiting for the new ones to come out so I can put em in. Moonknight i'll eventually put on a better body. but for the most part, goodguys on the top shelf, various badguys on the bottom. ![]() Solo Acts, Partial Avengers, Cosmic Characters, Etc side ![]() Avengers get center stage. Still working on Giant Man. ![]() X-Men and Fantastic Four. ![]() ![]() ![]() Best of MU so far until I get the new waves in. ![]() ![]() |

Thanks Ludo! Been working on Cage on and off and recently gave him a Thunderbolts inspired look with the full t-shirt, gauntlets, and belt. Modded a swivel hinge type neck on him and also gonna mod his legs so he has swivel thighs and rocker style ankles then I'll add in the cuffs for the boots.

thanks guys!
and yeah there't a few mods here and there from adding a belt or real chains, paint touchups to repaints, female elbow additions, apoxie additions, etc. Mostly trying to get some of the older figures up to date. |

Some modded figure shots =D
![]() SHS and MU Spidey mixed together along with a hinged neck made out of the old Spidey ankle. ![]() ![]() Hulk made from the first MU hulk and the movie hulk. Apoxie to fill in the gaps as well as for adding some Bieber hair. Also in there is a swivel hinged neck. I loved the build on the first toy but hated the execution. I'll prolly mix the new hulk with another old hulk body for the sheer torso and shoulder mass. ![]() Height comparison. ![]() Nightcrawler from the 2 pack with added thigh, ankle, and neck articulation. still need to sand or sculpt the ankles to be more seamless but for now I'm just happy he can pose better. ![]() Luke Cage WIP with legs from an extra Warpath. Gave him swivel thighs, rocker ankles, and a swivel hinge neck too. sculpted the gauntlets, belt, and boot cuffs with Apoxie. still need to add the lower boot bands and finish painting. Also the shirt needs a flat finish. someday... Last edited by NoodleChow; 09-19-2011 at 10:36 PM.. |

Nice teem set ups. I like the mix of SHS & MU. What are you using to get more ankle movement on Cage and Nightcrawler? Pics are amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice organized collection and as others have mentioned, sick customs thrown in there that looks like they are apart of the Hasbro line.
That Hulk, articulated Spiderman & Nightcrawler are very impressive. What's that Fin Fang Foom looking like Dragon and that Daredevil looking Giant Man?

thanks a ton for the support guys! =]
the nightcrawler ankle is illustrated here: ![]() took a target 2 pack punisher's foot and whittled it down so it became a stump with a peg, drilled a hole into the lower leg for the stump to be glued into, cut the peg of the ankle in a crescent shape, then drilled an inverted peg shape into the foot in order to accept the rocker style peg. basically, cheating to make the new joint. luke cage is similar but i did it wrong-ish since i didn't want to sacrifice another set of feet. basically took the peg from the foot and just inverted it onto the leg. lots of work for a not very reliable fix since the best way to do it is the way i did it for nightcrawler because it had this whole stump sunk into the leg and that's not going anywhere. the luke cage feet feel like they can be broken off with medium force whereas nightcrawler i'd need to cut and drill it off. that dragon thing is actually an octabrain from the old duke nukem line and i'm using an icons daredevil for giant man. saw a couple people do this also as it's an inspired choice. still haven't attached the antennae, need to sculpt the belt, and finish painting the rest of the emblem/the rest of the figure. also, might make a new hulk depending on if i have a second old hulk, possibly from the light up avengers stand line, and the newer wwhulk type one coming out end of this year/beginning of next. but for now, this is how i wanted hulk to be when i first bought him. they got the arms and build right, but man, swivel neck and limited legs? =\ |

haha thanks Optimus. 1/6th scale collectibles and Marvel Legends taught me to appreciate solid articulation.

I have to agree on your poses being ridiculously good. How did you get the Hulk to stay up like this? Is his foot glued down or by chance do you use quake hold? I'd think he's too top heavy to stay in this pose.

nah he's actually pretty balanced primarily because of his huge feet and that left arm swung out behind him.

been obsessed with making this deadpool ever since we saw pic of the daredevil and bullseye 2 pack at sdcc. the figures arrived from HTS yesterday so i couldn't resist working on him.
![]() ![]() ![]() recipe: head cast from x-force 3 pack harness and belt from comic 2 pack deadpool bands from the jim lee cyclops body from the daredevil/bullseye 2 pack. used daredevil :] |
