I think I'll pull the trigger on getting this batman anyways. I am honestly tired of waiting and to me the body mold is perfect, belt and all.

do it. looks kinda like one of the first good batman figures they produced way back when. always loved that pouchy belt look. also the gloves and boots have some great texturing to them.

Holy Shit Noodlechow! I am totally in love with that Iron Fist. Seriously, ol' Danny Rand has never looked more EPIC. lol
I read the first few volumes of Brubaker's run on Iron fist a few months ago, and have been obsessed with the character ever since and your custom blows all the MU and Legends version's out of the water. I might have to comission you to make me one here soon because...wow...just WOW.

hahaha thanks man but i think you give me too much credit. that ML one was pretty neat but i didn't get into the character till after i sold it and most of my ML collection a while ago. kept the chi effects though. haven't read any of the current iron fist stuff aside from Shadowland but pretty much read all of the old comics starting from when he teamed up with luke cage. that stuff is just awesome. especially when they need to take the subway or cabs to get to crime scenes. that's hardcore street level hero work for you.

I'm down for the Bay Area too. I grew up in San Jose.

Very very awesome customs NoodleChow. Your creativity on creating the neck pivot and rocker ankles is amazingly creative. Great stuff. I'll be looking forward to the next customs you post.

update with some figures i'd worked on plus what i'd been devoting most of my time towards.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Moon Knight and Black Widow:

Juggernaut with rocker ankles:

some WIP shots of what i'd been working on for the past couple of months:

SUPER SKRULL!

still a ways to go. had planned, sculpted, and cast an articulated stretchy arm but that may be put on the back burner while i sculpt and cast another thing arm which i hope to have finished and awaiting molding by tomorrow night. the first shot of skrull shows part of the stretchy arm with fist. might try reworking it but not till the rest of him is done. then need to bulk up the shoulder balls to be more proportionate to the rest of the arm as well as sculpt the shoulder flares. also had planned for the rest of the legs to be clear but had to scrap it for now. pic of that here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/IMG_6776.jpg

also the diff colors are primarily because i'd been testing how diff colors would look and me constantly making batches of parts trying to get decent ones without a pressure pot.

Nice work mate!! Really love that Juggernaut mod,comics-wise he was never a character i liked, but the MU figure is probably my favourite from the whole line!!(im planning out a more medieval armor for mine as we speak) and wow that skrull is looking great, especially the head,im sure the Skrull army builders will be begging you to make more so they can mix them with the standard MU heads!!

thanks my industrial friend =D and medieval armor would work on juggy pretty damn nicely. like a friggin brute.
the skrull head mainly looks proportionate on the cable and colossus bodies and looks a bit big for the wrecking crew types. hoping it all works on the herc body since i made these to possibly fit on that too. dunno if i'll be making em available yet since maybe 1/4th of the pulls are free of surface bubbles. hoping to get a pressure pot and air compressor someday to remedy that. we shall seeee

haha thanks mate, i had to go through a few sculpts to get the scale down. still not happy with what i ended up with but figured i needed to sculpt a few original works after learning how to cast.
WIPs of each head here:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/IMG_6752.jpg
kept em in case i feel like making hulk skrulls someday.

In your undersea lair, no doubt.

How you guys can afford to live there is beyond me- I was looking to move out there after my last visit to San Fran and even a cardboard box beneath an overpass was more tham I pay in rent here.

Noodle...hook a brother up with some clear parts! I have stuff to trade! Good stuff! really!
