The GI Joe 50th Anniversary Danger at the Docks set is out at the TRU in Cary. They had three sets ($29.99 each) and I bought one set for myself. This is the one with the VAMP MK-II w/Flint and the Night Raft w/Cobra Eel.

nothing. Absolutely nothing.
I have seen the Blowtorch two pack this month, but those are gone. if this year ends with only the scraps of TRU for GI Joe, i will never forgive Hasbro for disrespecting their first love.

Saw that you picked up a 6" Stormie, Falconhood. Congrats!

Hit up a Kmart here in Waynesville and walked out with 5" MMPR Green Ranger, Red Ninja Storm Ranger, Samurai Gold Ranger, an unmasked Keaton Batman with much better eyes than my first, and an Ewok set for my wife. Still no Rocket. I keep finding all but him at stores.

Rocket Racoonis mine! Found that they restocked the Walmart here in Waynesville since I visited on Monday. Also had another Stormtrooper. Now I'm just looking for Ranger stuff (Power Rangers that is). Keeping my eyes peeled for the MMPR Blue, Pink, Black, and Yellow in the fancy boxes at TRU.

Spotted a full set of the GOTG BAF at the Walmart in Wake Forest. Also Ultimate Comics in Chapel Hill has a new shipment of the Spider-Man Infinite series, spotted Spiderwoman. A pretty good selection of 50th Anniversary figures are turning up at the TRU in Durham and TTC.

Saw three more of the GI Joe 50th Anniversary sets at the TRU in Cary yesterday. They had the Ghost Hawk vs. Cobra Wolf vehicle pack ("Battle Below Zero" x2), the 3-pack with Leatherneck, Destro and Hawk ("The Eagle's Edge" x3), and the 3-pack with Cobra Viper, Cobra Trooper and Beach Head ("The Viper's Pit" x3).

I had actually found the Battle Below Zero set and The Eagle's Edge set last week in California on a business trip. I crammed all that stuff into my carry-on and lugged it all the way back from Salinas only to find all of it at my local TRU two days later!

That's really cool..what else was on the display?

I haven't posted here in quite a while..the reason is I haven't done much toy hunting lately. The newest thing I found was a Star Wars Black Series stormtrooper (the 6 inch figure) at Walmart.

Just picked up these two beauties at the Lumberton, NC K-Mart. i was really surprised to see them there considering they hardly ever have anything. They had the typical pegwarmers Han, Leia, and Greedo. Also had some quite a bit of Guardians of the Galsxy merchandise as well, including Iron Man, and Star Lord. Had them in my hands till I seen these Biker Scouts. They quickly went back to the shelf.

Found some interesting stuff at the TRU in Cary today...they had waves 2 and 3 of the 3 3/4-inch Doctor Who figures, including the 10th Doctor in long coat, Asylum Dalek, 12th Doctor from the regeneration scene, Amy Pond, Zygon, two versions of the standard gold Dalek, two versions of the 11th Doctor, Clara, Weeping Angel and maybe one or two more.

They also had the 3 3/4-inch Terminator ReAction figures as well. These are the 80s-style figures on the old Kenner-style cards. Very nice. Didn't buy any though. Just picked up three of the Doctor Who figures I didn't already have. I still need the Classic Dalek and the 12th Doctor in his new outfit if anyone sees those around town.
