Hit TRU in Cary at lunch. Picked up a Tribble! They had a box of the little critters from Star Trek; they are a little bigger than a softball and purr and vibrate. Also they have the latest series of the Walking Dead minimates.

The Target at Crossroads is the first place, other than Kmart, that I have seen the Movie Masters Man of Steel figures. They had the complete set of 3 at lunch today.

I have a small bit of intel on the 3 3/4-inch Man of Steel line. I picked up the Target exclusive 5-pack this weekend at the Super Target at Triangle Town Center. One of the figures included in the 5-pack is a General Zod without body armor. There is also a single-carded version of General Zod without body armor (found at the same Target) but there is a subtle difference between the two, for those of you looking for variants. The single-carded version has a goatee while the 5-pack version does not. There's also the Walmart exclusive boxed light-up version of the same figure which also does not have a goatee. And of course the original armored version (which also does not have a goatee). The other four figures in the 5-pack are all solid enough (relative to the rest of the line)...Jor-El, Superman, Superman in Kryptonian body armor and the giant Namek.

Yes, very expensive. Lots of fun to stroll though, see the costumes, and panels. Didn't buy anything this year except a Shinkenger cap.

Great to see you there! Heroes Con is just around the corner in Charlotte!

I'm starting to see more Movie Masters Superman. Last week I could only find Jor-El, and got him, but yesterday at Target in Wake Forest they had plenty of all of them. I'm not really buying Superman (in tights) yet. Maybe the movie will change my mind. But when I see new stuff, I post it directly to https://www.facebook.com/groups/2544672215/ while in the store, so that is an excellent place to post toy sightings quickly.
Toy Show in Greensboro this coming week-end! Who's going?

Walmart in Garner has the new Hot Wheels 1/64 60th Anniversary Corvette's. Looks like they just stocked, easily picked up the full set of 8.

Has anyone spotted the new Man of Steel Movie Masters (Superman w/key, Armored Zod, Faora)? I am in dire need of these figures but cannot track them down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking too. I actually have a pre-order for all three from Entertainment Earth, which says September. But, I will still keep an eye out and drop a line here.

Saw two more sets of the Transformers Generations Blitzwing and Springer Voyager class figures at the TRU in Cary today. $24.99 each. They also had the new Wolverine figures (which I had actually seen this weekend and forgot to post).

I did manage to score the MM Superman with command key yesterday. Armored Zod is on the back of the package, so I'm getting close.

I might go hunting tomorrow. Are there any good places to look in Durham. I'm interested in going to that Atomic Comics again.

I usually just hit the TRU and then the Atomic Empire. There is a Tuesday Morning just down from the Atomic Empire, I noticed they had some Kre-O Battleship sets. Then there is Ultimate Comics in Chapel Hill.

After not seeing any since I picked up one a couple of months ago, I spotted 3 Space Ghost figures at the TRU in Cary.

Hey Guys. I'm looking a little low on stock so far but nevertheless I'm planning on setting up again in my usual spot at the Raleigh Toy Show next weekend (the 22nd and 23rd). Hope to see everybody there. Just FYI I'm working on my Secret Wars collection these days, so if anyone has any of the recent Marvel Universe Secret Wars comic book 2-packs or any vintage shields and accessories to spare I'd be interested in doing some trading.

I got to go to Durham today, and was excited to pick-up DCUnlimited DARKSEID at Atomic Empire.
didn't see much of anything at the nearby Target and TRU, but they had the Power Rangers Samurai bull megazord for $19.99 at Tuesday Morning next door, and the other one that looks like ALL of the megazords in one huge brick, and some cheap Transformers Cyberverse, dreadwing i got for $5.99
