Saw two more GI Joe Eaglehawks this weekend, this time at the TRU at Triangle Town Center in Raleigh. I picked one up for myself. The other one was also in a partially crushed box. I wonder why the Eaglehawks are getting so banged up. I also kind of wish Hasbro would release some vintage-style Joe vehicles in vintage-style packaging like they do with the Star Wars line.

Went by the Target in Garner at Lunch and picked up 3 out of the 4 new 6" "Black" Star Wars Figures (Luke Pilot, R2-D2 and Darth Maul). They also had the 3 3/4" "Black" figures in stock. It was kinda funny, there was someone standing by the figures that picked up the Sandtrooper figure or I would have gotten all 4. Oh, they are $20 bucks a pop.

TRU TTC at lunch spotted 2 General Zod in shackles Movie Master figures, picked up one. Also the 6" Star Wars figures are hitting the area Targets and disappearing just as fast. Just need to get the Sandtrooper.

Finally got the last 6" Star Wars Black Series figure, the Sandtrooper. Spotted him and the other 3 at the Target in Durham next to TRU. Speaking of TRU, picked up the new comic series 2 Walking Dead Figures. Riot Gear Glenn, The Governor, his zombie daughter Penny and a pet zombie. Also they had the new Kick Ass 2 figures by NECA, the articulation and detail are outstanding. Picked up KA and Hit-Girl. The World War Z figures that I have seen have had terrible paint jobs, to me, not work getting.

I was just at the Target in Garner and they still had the 6" Star Wars Black Series Luke in X-wing uniform and R2-D2. They also had the 3 3/4-inch Saga Legends figures (2-packs, single packs, and multi-packs). They also had the new Avengers Assemble 3 3/4-inch figures (Hulk, Thor, Captain America and Iron Man) and the 12-inch three pack with Iron Man, Iron Patriot and War Machine. Got to admit, as cheap as those 12-inch figures are they actually looked pretty cool in the big 3-pack packaging. They also had a ton of new Transformers Beast Hunters figures (at least I think they're new (Predaking, Predakons Rising, etc.), I'm not really keeping up with those, but I don't remember seeing them before) and the Transformers Constribots sets.

This isn't really a local sighting but I received my preorder from Big Bad Toy Store yesterday for the new 3 3/4-inch Doctor Who playsets. They're actually pretty awesome for cardboard playsets. The materials are high quality and heavy duty, they're sturdy, they're really well thought out and designed, they look great on the shelf...I'm really impressed. Far better than a lot of other cardboard playsets I've seen, even from Hasbro. Now I just need my TARDIS and Wave 1 figures to arrive!

The usual TRU Cary @ Lunch. Spotted the new 3 3/4" Avengers Assemble figures, not much articulation. Also saw the new "Breaking Bad" figures. Picked up the 3 new 6" Assassin's Creed III figures, Edward Kenway, Haytham Kenway and Connor. Spotted the new Star Trek Kre-O USS Vengence Ship. Also spotted the new 3 3/4" Black Series Star Wars Figures at Target on Walnut.

Did anyone else notice the jump in prices for Beast Hunters? They are above $15 again at Targets. I spotted alot of that stuff, and posted pics on my TRIANGLE SIGHTINGS board, if you want to join, just PM me your FB http and I can add you. I figure it'd be faster than using this, since you can post RIGHT after taking the pic on your smart phone as you are out. I got the idea a few weeks ago because I kept forgetting to tell ppl at TFW about new things because when i get home...it's late. I'm too tired. haha.
Here's a great example because on FB there is metadata, like WHERE I saw it.

Picked up the Marvel Legends Punisher Variant figure with the Red-Skull Shirt at Atomic Empire (Scifi Genre) in Durham. Bought two Batman Heroclix Vehicle boxes from Ultimate Comics in Chapel Hill, one had the Batmobiel and the other had the Batwing, pretty awesome, but pricey.

Saw two of the Transformers Masterpiece Acid Storms at the TRU in Cary today at lunch. I think it was $74.99 or something close to that. I'm on the hunt for the GI Joe Retaliation 3-pack with Mouse and the next wave of Retaliation figures (Ultimate Duke, Ultimate Flint, Ultimate Firefly, Cobra Combat Ninja, etc.). If anyone sees any around town let me know!

Lunch time at Crossroads. TRU had the new Avengers Assemble 3 3/4" figures. I noticed there are two types, ones with and ones without articulation. I picked up the ones that had it. They are identical to the Marvel Universe figures, I got the Captain America, Falcon and the Hulk. The Hulk is pretty awesome looking, better than the last MU one, I think. Speaking of Marvel Universe figures, spotted the Series 5 at Target, they had Cap, Iron Spidey, Regular Spidey and a Hawkeye. I think I will pick up the Cap and the Mystero and Elektra when i spot them together.

Lunch time a Crossroads. TRU had the new TRU Series 16 Minimates. The Avengers‘ Hulk and Iron Man, Uncanny Avengers‘ Captain America and the Scarlet Witch, and Savage Wolverine‘s Wolverine and a Savage Land Reaper, as well as a fourth two-pack with Phoenix Five versions of Emma Frost and Colossus from Avengers vs. X-Men.

Picked up the Awesome Mattel 1966 TV Show Bstmobile for the 6" figures from TTC TRU. The thing is huge, but the detail is great. Doesn't do anything, but looks Cool.

Saw a bunch of cool stuff at the TRU in Cary today at lunch. They had the TRU exclusive X-Wing Fighter in vintage-style box (it was cheaper than I thought it would be...I had down that it was supposed to be $99.99 but it was only $59.99); they had the Platinum Series Ultra Magnus and the Platinum Series Grimlock Vs. Bruticus set; they still had two Masterpiece Edition Acid Storms out; they had the 6-inch scale 1966 Batmobile which is very impressive; they had a TRU exclusive Iron Man Assemblers 2-pack; and probably some more stuff that I'm forgetting at the moment. Overall it was nice to see some new stuff. Nothing new in the G.I. Joe section though.

was able to buy two sandtroopers at cary tru tonight. got them with the 20% discount. they have change most of there toy aisle. still one tf mp acidstorm, platinum series ultr magnus x3. 2 x-wing starfighters. nothing new with the series 4 walking dead.

Most exciting find: CALL OF DUTY Mega Bloks at the same TRU.
Like, but they are too expensive...for now.
