Hot Toys Star Wars Finn and Riot Control Stormtrooper

Great looking figures from a cool scene.

But I do wonder why did that 1 Stormtrooper has riot gears when everyone else just had blasters? That mission was clearly a "seek and destroy" mission as they were blowing up everything else, didn't look like they were there to control crowds. So I think that one guy grabbed the wrong gear.

A riot baton can clash with a lightsaber? Lightsabers can cut limbs with ease, and melt through 10" thick steel doors, then wouldn't that mean those riot baton can do the same? I wonder.

It looked like similar tech used by General Grievous' guards in Episode III, where they had batons that could clash with lightsabers.

Finn's costume doesn't miniaturize well (a bit doll-like), and he seems to have child bearing hips (legs spaced apart unnaturally), but besides that, Hot Toys reigns supreme as usual.

I'm pretty sure the Empire got on top of that anti-lightsaber technology after a few years.

If they come out with a set like this for Rey and Kylo Ren I might have to make my first Hot Toys purchase. Are alternate heads for their releases ever normal? Like I get having a neutral face, but I think an 'action/fighting' face would do wonders for posing these together.
