I preordered it immediately without really looking at it. So, I didn't realize what it was. The BTAS line was one of the few I skipped from DC Collectibles, mostly because of the 6" scale, as I was hardcore 7" last at the time. It seems awfully late in the game to try to jump into that line, so I will probably cancel it.

Up until now, I was alway under the impression that Mcfarlane was helping distribute the remaining stock of DC Direct figures, namely the DCeased and Batman: The Adventure Continues figures. However, Bullock was never announced for The Adventure Continues line. I also don’t remember any news or rumors about a 4 pack which means this set is something new(ish).

I’m not a huge fan of the cel shaded look, but that BTAS Harvey Dent has to be one of the worst I’ve seen. I’m sure I read somewhere that McFarlane said they were going to continue some of DC Directs more popular figures, which BTAS was, I went all in on that line, if this is how McFarlane intends to continue this line then I won’t be partaking. One day someone will make me a BTAS Bruce Wayne to go with all these other figures…surely.

Unless you want to spend a few grand trying to go back and collect what’s already been released then yes, it probably is too late, and this is not a continuation of that line as far as I can tell, different packaging, it’s not numbered like the rest was, plus the adventures continues already gave us cel shaded Batman, Joker and Harley Quinn, these just seem like a cash in, it’s a shame because they could have just picked up where DC Direct left off, there was still a few mainstay characters that never got a figure, can you believe that line had 60 numbered figures and not one of them was Bruce Wayne.
