Thanks!
I only have a Black Series Vader from Empire so I purchased this one.
I'm not sure I'll be able to tell them apart once they are both out of the package but such is the life of a middle aged man who buys toys.

Thank you again for it.
I still see no evidence this figure exists on Target's site or their app -unless I look at my transaction where I purchased it.

Now if you search "Star Wars Black Series", then Filter "Newest to Oldest", then he pops up with the new Vader, but of course, they're sold out now.

Here's differing "evidence" for you.

https://hasbropulse.com/collections/...a-third-sister

6,000 available upon debut. 4,222 have been sold. Not bad, really. But the selling has cooled tremendously. I stand by my previous statement.
Cheers, encouraging to see her sell so well on Pulse as well as amazon.

That's kinda it.

Thank you for the link.
How did you find it?
It STILL is not showing up when I search "Obi Wan Kenobi" on Target.com.

EDIT: Seriously, how did you find this?
There is no link to the actual product from my transaction.
I grabbed "Ben Kenobi (Tibidon Station)" from my transaction and searched for it and got Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
Well done, Target.
Well done.
It makes sense that the lapels go underneath since EpIII Vader was like that but EpIV had it over so Rogue One needed to be consistent. I really wanted them to capture the Obi Wan look of the helmet. I can’t explain it but it looks better than ever

Besides, Amazon ships worldwide, not like Pulse.

But EpIII was a totally different suit while, besides the robe, this is all EpIV. Maybe the showrunners took the opportunity to change up some of the Rogue One costume due to its awkwardness? The upper armor in particular was strangely shaped and moving the robe underneath might help combat how much it sticks out.

I’m beyond aggravated with Target exclusives—out of stock or they cancel your order. I’m almost ready to call it a day.

Glad they are still fake wearing the cardbacks so that new collectors don't mistake these for actual vintage Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi carded figures.

And let's not forget about the fantastically designed giant red circle that blocks the hideous card back art to let us, in our endless state of mindlessness, know that this release is indeed and genuinely part of the famous "Retro Collection".

Love this retro line, but wish Little Leia was included since she is apparently quite central to the season's plot. Maybe they'll do a 2nd wave later on like they did with the retro Mandalorian line.

Honestly, who wears the same cloths for 20 years and NEVER change?!? I know it's iconic, and I know they did it for the nostalgic feel, but when Anakin snapped on the Vader suit at the end of Episode 3, that suit should not have looked exactly like how he'll look 20 years later in Rogue One. (Not to mention the lost of more Vader toys opportunity). I know the Vader suit also serves as some kind of healing apparatus, you mean the technology never got upgraded for the #2 Empire guy for 20 years?!?!
The Sith are basically an order of evil monks and practitioners of monastic living are known for rigidly adhering to routines. Also, The Emperor intentionally gave Vader a cumbersome and outdated suit so he'd always be in pain and angry. Compare his cybernetic survival suit to Grevious's who was killed like a day before Vader got his suit.

I'm not terribly big on a lot of post-1983 Star Wars but I'd go nuts over more vintage-style OT figures, both new figures and re-sculpts of already-existing vintage figures. (in addition to Tarkin, Snowspeeder Luke, and resculpted Vader) apologies if I don't have much nostalgia for telescoping lightsabers!

though I'd expect some PT and ST waves are more likely.....

I'll pick up the NED-B, should cover what I need for a 3 3/4" version and get it way faster than TVC.

What they really should've done with Vader's look for ep.3 and this obi-wan series is having his attire look like some of the early Ralph McQuarrie concepts. Making it seem as if it evolved towards his look in the OT. That would've been really cool.
I always liked this early iteration of the suit. That's Joe Johnston wearing the suit btw.

That would’ve been really cool. But on the other hand - people wanted to see Darth Vader in Episode III. That was the climax they have build towards with the prequels. I'm not sure if changing his look, even for something as iconic as the McQuarrie concept art, would've gone over well. Also, marketing and merchandising. Plastering the classic helmet design all over the place gets more people hooked than something only fans are familiar with.

I hope they mix up the "image" of Darth Vader in the Kenobi series in a different way - let him remove his helmet! Hayden looks awesome with the makeup put on; the scenes in the Bacta tank are so cool. I want to see him actually act as Vader with that makeup on. No battle damage like in the comics, video games or when Ahsoka slashes him in Rebels - let him remove his helmet on his own terms. That would be awesome IMO.

I completely agree with this. As it stands there's a novelty to Hayden returning to the role but unless he unmasks then they could've had anybody wearing the suit like they did for Rogue One. There would also be more of an emotional punch for Obi-Wan to actually see the scarred Anakin and not just Vader.
