I picked a team to cheer for well over a decade ago because my grandfather liked them, and my uncles like them "Dude lover". Has nothing to do with success. When I started watching them, the Steelers hadnt won a superbowl in a long time. By the way, just what team do you pull for since were on the subject? Usually the one yelling "Band-wagon fan!" is the real "band - wagon fan" from my experience. I see no reason for you to continue to cowardly conceal yourown favorite , while you (oh-so-innocently) critque me.

@BlackMegnus: Im certainly happy to. Tell this to the "Dude lover" there. My comments have been about football this entire time. Soda-pop-boy was the one who started throwing insults around first.

ANYWAY, Ive been really surprised at actually how bad the Pats have been playing lately. Though they did okay last night, I think their defence still ranks dead last against the pass. Ive never cared for them anyhow so...

As for the Steelers: Our Linebackers are getting healthy, and the D is finally gellin'. Its good to see James Harrisen back. I think we may just win-out the rest of the schedule after the bye. I dont see anyone remaining thats gonna be a real problem. I know we play Cincinnati again. We got them. AFC North will be ours ! GOOO STEELERS!!

Pats will still win the division (the rest of their schedule is light) and then lose in the wild card round to the jets...again.
Chiefs limp into playoffs without Cassel and the second wild card is Baltimore.
Steelers beat baltimore and then lose to Texas in the afc title game.

Oh, and Ray Lewis got a ring in 2000. In the same year he was charged with two counts of murder. He then cut a deal, pled to felony obstruction and narced on his friends putting the two men with him away for life.

I say they put in simple rule. If you have body on your resume you're done. a $250,000 fine is just sad. That would apply to Donte Stallworth too.

And if we could find a way to ditch Rex Ryan I'd appreciate that too.

As being a Pats fan my whole life, unfortunately I must agree that they have had a pattern of having a pretty good season, and then blowing it in the first game of the playoffs. They do have horrible defensive, but yet they're first in their division, so they're doing something right.

Oh, your grandfather liked them... gotcha! Well, my uncle (who was like a big brother to me) was a front running Cowboys fan, but I'm one of those weirdos who formulates his own opinions. Do you not see my location? It says Philly,.. so why would you think I'd not be an Eagles fan? You cheer for your city, not the random team that wins often, that you know nothing about and have no connection to; well, I that's what I do. The Eagles suck, have never won anything (since the Superbowl era), but I love them. That's my city, and that's my team,.. good or bad. When they're hot, the entire city is wearing green, high-fiving each other, holding doors, etc,.. that's what's up, kid. Go pump some gas. I have some big dudes to pose.

Anyone has a right to like who they like soda-pop. Are you really so naive to think that "Steeler Nation" has fans ONLY in Pittsburgh.? If you watch ANY Steeler away game you will clearly see just as many Steeler fans as the opposing team. Why? Cause they are everywhere. Theres like 5 in my small town alone. Theres also a seahawks fan, two falcons fans, and a cowboys fan I know (and the Cowboys fan who lives in Louisiana travels to every home game in Dallas as he is a season ticket holder) Guess hes not a fan too huh? You go right ahead and tell them what youre telling me to any real football fans face and see what they do pal. If you do that , and provide actual proof you did it, on my honour ...Ill send you $20 bucks lol

Ive never cheered for anyother team. And the reasons I do are obviously not the reasons you say, as like I said, Ive liked them LONG before they won their recent Superbowls. As a matter of fact (if you indeed know your football...which I highly doubt being an Eagles "fan" ), the Steelers had recently lost a Superbowl to Dallas a couple years before I began watching.

Ive been there watching when Kordell Stewart was our QB. Then Tommy Maddox. I know EVERYTHING about Pittsburgh kid. The front 4 of the steel curtain: LC. Greenwood, Dwight White, Ernie Holmes, and Mean Joe Greene. We won titles in 74', 75', 78',79,06, and 08. I will never like the Saints in anyway (as they are not my home team anyhow genious)...even after they won the Superbowl. You clearly are poorly attempting to attack me without any sort of idea what youre talking about...or provocation for doing so. So...go head. We all know who the real champs are in that state Dont be so sore soda-boy. '

Oh by the way (since you sure seem to pay close attention to me in other threads), at Chevron its self-serve. No employee pumps gas anymore. lol You go pose your big dudes lol. Oh...and hows Vick doing with his cracked ribs? lol "Dream team" my ass.

Don't worry, Joe,.. he's taken it to PM's now. Good thing too, because I sure as hell wasn't about to read that entire novel of a retort.

The Packers look good this year.

I dont think Moore was too worried guy. The Packers defence is probly one of the most overrated there is. They consistantly allow multiple scores. Offensively I agree, they are beasts though.

And amazingly, the Raiders are leading the AFC West for a second week in a row! They're one game up on Denver and two games up on KC and SD. I still think we're going to get blown out of the water in the playoffs, assuming we make it. We've got a few tough games coming up, so our division is still very much up-for-grabs.

But it's been a steady improvement over the last couple seasons, so I'm hoping in another couple, we'll have a powerhouse team again.

So because they beat the 49ers this week, they're going to lose to the Browns next week, right?

Well.... Looks like another mid season collapse for my G-Men. Anything is possible but New Orleans then Green Bay? Ouch.
