I love football (both college and pro), so I'll start by saying my favorite team is the Oakland Raiders.

And now for a lil rant:

I hate how the Raiders signed Carson Palmer. If the Bengals didn't want him, why the hell would we? And they definitely got the better end of the trade, IMO.

Oh, well. If he starts this weekend, we'll see if he was worth it or not.

Apparently Al Davis is still calling the shots in Oakland.. from his grave, because that trade is a train-wreck waiting to happen. Palmer blows. Always has.

I am a palmer fan and think he will be better then what the raiders have had,give him a chance,my gripe is with the kickoff's from damn near mid field,wtf?

Palmer had one good year. It's unfortunate that he had to play for such a disfunctional organization, but the hand he was dealt and he did nothing with that hand. Meanwhile, The Red Rocket is making everyone in Cinci say, "Carson who??"

I'm a Giants fan. NFC East is always a grudge match. Looks like a lot of guys are coming back from injury which is really bad news for the Dolphins. Brutal schedule towards the end.

I have only seen the end of one Stanford game and Luck's numbers were not that good and they had a killer running game with multiple backs running over 100 yards. (because in college people can't tackle) He had very little attempts. Is this guy really that good? Because in the NFL you're never going to see numbers like that from your backs. Has Luck had a game where its mostly on his shoulders the likes of a Payton Manning or Aaron Rogers?

Do you think we can post fantasy football talk here as well? Its NFL related.

Well hold-up now brother. Palmer WAS wanted by the Bengals. Palmer is the one who didnt wanna be there.

Anyway Im a die-hard STEELERS fan (Have been since around 99'). I really enjoyed last game where we kicked the hell outta that ninny Tom Brady.

It's a bug in front of the lense. Discovery or history already had a show on this. Has to do with video frame rates. The bug looks like it has mutiple wings due to interlacing. Broadcast HD cameras only record at its max 60 frames per second. The broadcast signal your getting is 29.97 frames per second. (I work in TV production. Sorry for the nerd moment

) If the same shot was used using a high speed camera you would see its just a bug. Giants vs Patriots today! Go Blue!

Can't believe we lost to Denver. Our whole conference is one big bottleneck now. Well, at least we have a better record than my dad's Vikings.

A friend of mine is a die-hard Pittsburgh fan too. I'm kind of neutral on them, though I'm happy whenever they beat the Bengals.

Ravens wont stay with only two losses. We will beat them when it truly matters like we always do. Knocked them outta the playoffs last year. We beat them 3 times in the 08 season. We will knock them out this year. We lost by :08. This time it wasnt no slaughter. "Dirty-birds" are one game ahead now. As I said...wont last. Pittsburgh will be back. GO STEELERS!
