Ok, this thread is going to work just like the one in the Toy forum, only this thread is specific to media (Video games, DVD/Bluray, Music) that you have purchased recently. Pics welcome.

I'll start.

Bluray
Paranormal Activity 3 (and PA1 on Bluray for $10 when bought together)

I got the Rise & Fall of WCW and Ricky Steamboat dvds in a combo pack from Walmart for $10 but haven't watched either of them. However the wife has agreed to watch with me at least the Documentary parts as she likes those kinds of things and I count that as a big win. I'll just watch the matches on my own which works out cus I don't have to explain as much and I can enjoy the art

Well, they're not recent purchases, but I did have a decent X-Mas haul on the home video front.

Blu-Ray: PotC 4, Thor, Captain America, Harry Potter 7 Pt. 2
DVD: X-Men First Class, Police Academy 3 Pack

Ah man, why would you buy those? You should have just rented them for a $1, the rewatch factor just isn't there dude.

I have to respectfully disagree with this ^ statement my friend.

Granted it might not be anywhere near as scary for you to watch a second time when you know everything that is going to happen...

but consider this,
suggesting to watch these with your wife/girlfriend/current romantic interest will definitely get you some heavy snuggle time as she buries her head in your arm and uses your hands to cover her eyes on the "scariest parts"...and hell, who knows? you could even get some "lovin" when the movie is over when she feels like you "protected" her from the scary movie...

...just sayin' ;D (also, I'm speaking from personal experience here...Hey-oh!!)

You can still accomplish that by renting it. For a $1.

mp4 I believe, I have a ps3, 500gb external harddrive, dl'd a free ps3 media server that combined with my wifi modem that shares anything music, pics, video from my laptop to my ps3, great for dl'ing a moving and wanting to watch it right away, but rather then tie up space on the computer I just put them on the harddrive and connect to the ps3 via usb and select the content and whalah. The harddrive I had to format a certain way inorder for the files to read on the ps3, youtube videos helped me.

Ive heard that about the final season, and about buying yours idk depends once I finish the first season if I want to continue. The place I get my stuff at has the first 3 seasons for $6 a pop then season 4 for $8 and then 5-7 or whatever it ends at are $14-20. You may have better luck on amazon or ebay man sorry, thanks though.

Oh and please no Lost spoilers. Its been long enough that ive forgotten most of what I have heard.

I plan on using Netflix when I finally get around to watching Lost. Although, if I get them that cheap I might just get the entire series. Depends on how I feel after watching the first season.

See, I would do something like that but I'm too old school about it. I like having the physical media as well.

I hear ya, when it comes to cd's,games and certain movies I will buy them, especially as some movies like older/lesser known movies can be a bitch to find and even when you do a lot of the time the sources are corrupted in 1 form or another, If blurays were same price as dvd's I'd buy more, but I don't need a steelbook with bluray, dvd, enhanced dvd, media dvd, 3 bonus discs on extra crap I watch once and never again, I never both with commentary type stuff either. I sold a fuck ton of vhs off because 1 it takes up soooooooo much room, and plus needed some extra $. I still have all my dvd's and blurays. but I only have a handful of blurays.

You'll be sucked in by the end of the first season, it happens to everyone.

I didn't get sucked in. Didn't really enjoy it at all. Although i find it hard to get into TV series. Unless it is The Walking Dead

I'm not going to lie...I fell asleep during the first Paranormal Activity...so I haven't bothered with the other 2, or is it 3? I don't know anymore. I did wake up for that lady got dragged out of bed though, that was pretty cool.

The first one didn't do much for me but make me jump a few time, but that is not hard to do. The second was a little more, but that also coming from a mommy of a little boy watching a mother trying to get to her son who is close in age to mine. The third got me with the tension build up. I was able to sleep fine though. unlike other movies that have kept me up before.
