Ive asked around on other sites but Im hoping someone here can assist. So I have this device in my room that sprays air freshener everry hour or so. Its been there for years and its been fine. But one day about 2 weeks ago I discovered it had formed these spots on the flight stand that came with the Mezco One:12 Gomez. I have a picture attached. It also did this to his sword.

I tried Goo Gone, alcohol, various cleaning agents and more, woth no dice. It seems to have baked itself in there. Im wondering if there is anything I can do to salvage this. This is the only figure this has happened to. I had a different stand sitting there for a while as well but there was never any issue with that.

If theres no solution, does anyone have an email address I can contact Mezco with to request a replacement?

All air fresheners have ethanol and other solvents that could, in theory, dissolve plastic. I'm not super familiar with the Mezco stands. If there is a coating over the plastic of the stand to avoid scratches and scrapes, it could be that the solvents have eaten through the coating and basically left you with "water spots". Again, I'm not sure if the stands have a coating, are made of a cheaper plastic, or what. If you've never had a problem with any other stands or figures, my guess is the combinations of the solvents and the chemical make-up of the plastics in the stand and sword are to blame.

Goo Gone is chock full of harsh chemicals, so that could have actually made the problem worse. Alcohol is pretty rough, too.

I guess, if it were me and I've tried a bunch of stuff and have chalked the stand up as a loss, I would try to gently sand through the very first layer of the stand, with a very fine grit, to see if it is just a surface marring. This is not an ideal solution, mind you, as this might damage the picture of the cricket or whatever that is. If that actually worked, you could hit the stand with a clear coat to give it some gloss back.

Thanks for the response. I guess its not looking good. Like I said this is the first this has happend so, im hoping it could be something oil based which would be easier.

The stains, when washed with water or anything just fade and reappear. Also its like the varnish or whatever insect motif on the stand hasnt been affecyed any more than the rest of the solid black so its difficult to tell the nature of it. I may just end up having to request a replacement.
