Too bad it's an exclusive

Hopefully you’ll be able to find it for a good price at some point. There’s been a few exclusives I’ve snagged for a good price over the years on the secondary market or at comic shops.

I went and pre-ordered this version! After seeing the Mezco Supes it's pretty clear that Mezco will NEVER get Superman right and waiting for them to do so is pointless. Something about the supersuit just doesn't translate well to the One:12 Collective line.

RIGHT?? If I'm shelling out big bucks for a collector's piece, I reeeeeallly don't want to have to do aftermarket modifying to make it look good!

Agree with alot of things others have posted who are crtical and let down, once you go past the $50 and the $100 mark certain standards need to be met.

For me, Mezco most of the time doesn't get the body proportions right. The soft goods, I just feel it has to be smooth spandex to be accurate, not where I can see the fibers and stitch.
Think the head extension for flying isn't quite right.
Hot Toys I think came the closest for a Christopher Reeves likeness but not perfect. The neutral face is fair to good here albeit a bit soft. The smiling one is atrocious.
Like many others, I am still waiting for a definitive or a very good accurate and well articulated 1/12 Christopher Reeves Superman. If the price was better and the proportions to the body and and the cloth goods was perfect, I may have considered getting it and trying my luck for a custom Reeves head. Not sure though if SHF or Mafex could pull it off but still hoping.

Mezco needs to create more bodies or just have them be more modular. Like create several types of arms/necks/legs/toros pieces etc and mix and match them for each figure. That seems to be what Hot Toys and other 1/6 scale companies do. It's dumb for them to literally be using the Joker body entirely for other figures for instance like they do.

Oof after reading the comments here I have second thoughts. But already shelled out the deposit. I’m hoping the final product will look better than the prototype shown, especially the smiling head.

eh just enjoy the figure if you're happy. I'm sure it'll be nice to have in hand, I'm looking forward to it.
