$400?? Nope!

Heads look awkwardly out of proportion anyway.

Woooooow they have finally arrived! Very cool….I wish I could see them in person first. I’ll be preordering, how could I not, I feel like this is the tmnt mezco versions for like the next 10 years.

$400 and they look like shriveled up fingers with disproportionate heads

If the set was $200 or $250, I’d say it’s a great deal. But $400 AND Mezco’s horrific release delays… nope. Neca or Super7 TMNT scratch the itch just fine.

For this price they should have included alt heads where all 4 turtles have red eyemasks since this style seems to be vaguely going for the original Mirage comics style.

Bwahaha, no way this set is worth $400 unless the turtles can do ninja moves by themselves.

Shame that these and the Mezco PRs are box sets only. Would have been down for one figure from each series

It probably is worth that much. That Popeye Bluto two pack was retailed at $165

The Snyderverse Justice League 3 figure set is $265

The TMNT set has 4 figures more accessories in terms of extra heads, weapons, and soft goods.

Unfortunately the sculpts and design leaves much to be desired, but it’s hard to argue they are pricing this thing unreasonably

Yeah, it's becoming annoying that Mezco seems to be doing more multipacks. I don't want to pay $400 just to get a Pink Ranger or Invisible Woman.

Pass. I'll just wait for that Mirage Comics 4 pack reissue that is supposedly coming out this year.

Yeah no, I can get Neca turtles of this quality or even better for $30s. So I won't buy anything Mezco. Just because a company set their average price at $100, doesn't make it "reasonable."

EXACTLY!

I've always felt Mezco figures were overpriced. I've never liked soft goods clothing on figures at this scale since it doesn't realistically scale well. Their products are basically overpriced MEGO figures with more articulation and better headsculpts, but that doesn't justify a Hot Toys level price for their figures. As others have mentioned, the NECA figures are quite acceptable already for this style/scale and at a fraction of the price Mezco wants. So far the only person I've seen online getting excited about these is Mad Hatter on his Youtube channel, but he'll pretty much buy anything TMNT.

On a related note, TNI reported the other day that the rumor of McFarlane having a TMNT license now may not be true and the site that initially reported it seems to have mistakenly attributed the wrong company to some upcoming toys for the new TMNT animated movie. That same site has already corrected their links so that it now attributes those same toys to Playmates instead.

The four pack will be the new Mirage/IDW designs, not the original Laird/Eastman designs. Neca has said repeatedly those have been so over saturated with KOs there is no reason to revisit the designs.

These TMNT figures stand 17 cm tall? That is too big, especially with their giant heads/hands/feet. These types desperately need toe hinges due to their giant feet. Their articulations look very limited. I get that, but they’re very flexible turtles so they should've at least find a way to add articulation to their chest/abdomen areas. Too late to fix that now, tho.

Too big compared to what? Playmates turtles? Because Neca and Super7 turtles are even bigger. I have them all, even the 3rd party "Samurai Turtles", and these $100 turtles don't look like they are better than those at all in terms of sculpt/paint/articulation.

Im really liking that they kind of have the original comic look with a modern feel to them.
Ive always been into TMNT and kinda wish they were a little shorter.
With the accessories, soft goods and it being a complete team Im totally down.
Ive already put my deposit down, now I just need to sell some customs and other figures to soften that price and little

Compared to, like, April, and Mezco’s own line. In the original comic, I think she’s a head taller than the turtles. Mezco one:12 isn’t the 7” scale line, it’s about 6” to 6.5” scale line. These turtles we see here, are as tall as their Supreme Knight Batman. I don’t like that. I always imagined TMNT to be about 5’ ft tall “irl”.
