I'm real glad that Pac-Man is still relevant, but none of those really seem that much fun.

Just found out about this yesterday myself. Happy 30th, Pac-Man!

Actually, my daughter and I had a lot of fun playing with the bowling game toy. The launching mechanism is a lot more powerful than you'd think and Pac-Man races across the room pretty damn fast, even on carpet. It would certainly knock down any 3.75" figure that stood in its way. Maybe even 6" figures.

Just remember, it's a side-launcher so you have to allow for the extra space it needs to clear the launcher and hit the ground before it goes forward.

...well, that's assuming you're actually trying to hit the paper targets. My daughter and I were just trying to see if we could bank it off walls and make it go into other rooms.
