Got my Quonset Hut from HK today and it is a monster.

Now I just need Funko to do Gomer Pyle figures.

If you have it, which I don't, yet, lockers and bunk beds should sleep 12 to 16 n 1 hut.

Wow, 12 to 16 bunks is a lot of space. Nice score, Lord Mudd!

M&C Toys update: They have added a page in their online store which allows you to order items like the lockers, chairs, crates, drums, laptops, etc. individually, $10 minimum order.

I'll start it off with a fun little swamp hut from the 2000 Shrek line. The figures were about 2.5"-3" but some of them came with some great playset potential.

I actually have this playset loose if anyone wants to buy it from me. I've been trying to get rid of it for years since I don't collect 3.75 inch figures. It's missing some of the small accessories but a lot of it is there. PM me if interested.

That's nice! It has a kinda Yoda's hut vibe to me.

One of my favorite playsets with my Major Matt Mason and Outer Space Men was my Astrolite, by Hasbro- when they were still getting it right, which I still have. I would use it as an alien base, so I could hardly wait until I had some properly scaled figures to display in it.

1:18 caster Raginspoon has designed a factory produced, modular playset currently up for pre-order at smalljoes.com, with a ETA of May. Similar like the modular Gundam mechanical chain base, but unlike the Gundam base, these are designed specifically for 1:18 scale.

Less a “playset” than it is a display stand, but it’s so versatile at many scales, from Transformers, Marvel Legends, to Storm Collectibles MK. I got these from some Diamond Select Avengers figures.

To me, a playset in the hands and eyes of a collector is an object or objects that creates an environment in which to display an action figure.

Indeed, backgrounds totally count in here as well.

Have we talked about this set yet?

Nova Ubiquitous UB-01 Modular Diorama

I don't think I have the right figures to use it much, but I love the building part, that you can customize it however which way you want. LEGO for adults

I have seen it but not here yet.

I did pick up 5 zip lock gallon bags of Legos at a thrift store the other day.

Any suggestions for a playset for my Desert themes Cobra Vipers and troopers? I was originally thinking of the Land of the Jawa's vintage Star Wars playset, but it's a little too Star Wars for them.

Might start with a big sheet of sandpaper. You could use real sand but it tends to get into everything. Any Egyptian themed playsets. Playmobil has some simple houses to go with their pyramid set. You could get several of these to make a street.

It's only a background piece not a playset but there are two different 7" Indiana Jones out there each comes with one of these sets:

The lighter coloration on that second one would look good for a 4" Mummy.

A little bit of explanation is needed for these 3 pics. I used 2 types of bricks for this scene; 1X2 clear and 2X2 clear roof. When I went to the Lego store, that was all they had in clear and now they don't even have the 1X2's. Not even on line. This limits creative possibilities. I see possible playset possibilities for the Outer Space Men, of which Electron + is pictured here, Crystar, Micronauts, and even Thor. I see all of these bricks not just in clear but also in translucent colors.
