Unfair? You know how much stuff we get screwed out of because we're in Canada? I don't mean exclusives, either, I'm talking regular stuff that just skips us over, like the occasional wave of Star Wars or Marvel Universe...
I haven't seen these yet on the south shore of Montreal, so I guess I'd better just wait.

Yeah, decided to register finally.
I work at walmart, and help with the toys department. We actually put these figures out last week. Woops. I guess there can be many reasons for some walmarts not putting them out yet. Maybe they didnt get their shipments, the manager is clueless, or even the associates. Hard to say. Also, it seems we didnt get ALL the figures, like I have not seen any mark I or IIs or the Iron Monger figures at all. I see Mark IIIs everywhere. Hopefully we will get more in with the ones we dont have. Edit- Oh, I guess those were 1st line figures, that might explain why we dont have any. Couldn't agree with you more!! |

So I take it one of the retailer buyers at Walmart either new the potential of the 6" figures, or was a fan himself, and got them secured for Walmart. I figure the other retailers all put money on the smaller figures since the variety is better than the 1st line, and the price is cheaper buy a few dollars. Not to mention the shelf presence with more pegs is overwhelming in a good way.

The ones I picked up last night
Movie Series: Mark III, IV, V, both VI's War Machine (red variant, I read a post on the two colors, but they were all red at my walmart.) Comic Series: First Appearance War Machine (we had only one of these, lucky me!) Stealth Armor Crimson Dynamo Classic Concept: Power Assault Hyper velocity Armor Inferno Mission Next time I work I hope they have already put out more, if not I am going to get in the stock room and look for more to put out. I will keep checking everyday that I work. @Morzilla I wouldn't mind helping out with getting some figures for you if you are still having trouble finding them. |

number wise you have to take in consideration that the 3 3/4" figure lines have been out in stores for over 2 months now and are fully stocked even the the rare ones like the war machine variant and concepts which are fairly easy to find and I see all of them in all stores such as toys r us, target, walmart, and kmart. I have hope will get fair numbers of the 6inch figures in stores and will be able to get them.
EDIT: I just noticed that the 6" figures that were released in Taiwan use the English-only packaging, not the multi-lingual ones that the Canadian release seems to use. That seems somewhat strange to me... Last edited by rob_charb; 04-22-2010 at 08:36 AM.. |

just a thought, but no one has spotted a mark V yet. cancelled, or later wave? if its in a later wave does that mean we get more 6" figures, or just a case asst revision? HRMMM.

I would say it's in a case revision but I thought all three were coming out at the same time?? I haven't seen any on ebay or anyone review one, must be later wave/revision.

I think the Mark IV is a sure bet, there is the one that RDJ was sporting at Toy Fair and he reportedly uses the mark IV armor the most in the movie.

Thanks man! Hopefully Hasbro releases more info on Mark IV and hopefully it does come with a swappable RDJ head, there hasn't been much info on it since it's surprise appearance at Toy Fair.

Now that I think of it, RDJ and Mark V probably are the second wave if WM and Mk VI are the first. Plausible but only my theory.

Just a heads up...the local Wal-Mart (St-Georges, Quebec in Canada) got their stock. These figures sure are looking good!
As others have said, there were only two available; Mark VI and War Machine. I would've liked to see a Mark V. Last edited by grayfox; 04-26-2010 at 01:38 PM.. |

Thanks, Fox. I'll check out the one on Montreal's south shore when I have the time. Maybe on Friday.

Just picked up Mark II and Deep Dive Armor from my walmart.
I did not pick them up in the toys aisle. I picked them up in apparel. They have a display set up over there, have shirts and shorts of Iron Man 2, an Ac/Dc display of cds, and then a big toys display. There was one little section of the 2.6 figures. I found those two there among others. So there is another place to look. I'm sure most of the walmarts will have similar set-ups. |

I finally found them at my walmart. Unfortunately, they only had one WM and he had a messed up face, so I only got the Mk VI. They didnt have a lot of them, only four. and so far, no other walmart in my area has them, only one. if one has them, shouldn't they all? Hopefully they will eventually get them in, cause I really want WM.

I had no problem finding 7 of War Machine with the BEST paint jobs. Left the others. Also, Not all stores got them. Just high end stores that move product well. All stores got 1 case or none at all. This 1 particular store ordered 6 cases. Guess what ?? They got in 1 case. The dept toy managers stated this are dis continued and no longer in the system. Several of them stated this point at different stores. Extremely limited with limited distribution.

Mine has at least twenty of each, what isn't on pegs is on the shelf. Sooo limited. I'd say most stores that are getting them just havent yet. Plenty at mine though.

My walmart is slacking on getting more figures! I did get to Kmart and Toysrus and got the 3 pack as well as an iron monger and blue eyed war machine. Only missing Mark I until the 2nd wave.
