"Pose It Up!" Thread....Win a Fig each week

“Pose it Up & Win it!”

Summary:
…So being as happy as I am to have gotten the new "Return of Marvel Legends" figures, I figured I'd start this thread for fun.
Basically I have quite a few extra figures lying around from my B/S/T and elsewhere collecting dust, and in need of a good home.
So in order to make it fun, I thought I’d start this little friendly contest open to all my fellow ‘Arkers….

• Each week beginning on Monday in keeping with the theme of the week take a picture of your figures set up according to that theme. Feel free to add word bubbles, and other effects to your photo however you see fit. Just have fun with it!
• Post that picture and the picture that you are basing your pose off of in the thread, everyone is welcome to vote on their favorite picture and whichever submission has the most highest amount of comments/votes at the end of the week wins.
• The winner will receive the featured “figure of the week” from my collection. I’ll then send that figure to the winner free of charge.

Rules:

1. Pictures must be no bigger than 500 x 700 pixels.
2. No slander, arguments, slurs between contestants.
3. Submission period is from MONDAY to WEDNESDAY each week.
4. Voting period is from THURSDAY to FRIDAY at 11:59 PM(, votes will be tallied on Friday night and the winner will be announced on SATURDAY morning.
6. Submission’s must be titled with: A) Username B) Date mm/dd C) Brief description of source image (title of comic, issue #, etc..)

Prize:
• The “figure of the week” shipped FREE, picked entirely by me. Could be MOC or Loose, may or may not have all accessories.

Examples:

So here are some example shots of what I’m talking about. Since the whole purpose of this thread is to A) thin my “extra” collection a bit and B) to get people to be creative with their figures and take some cool/funny pictures and have them recognized by fellow ‘Arkers.

Here’s some shots of the new ML Thor, Ghost Rider and Iron Man figures that I had some fun trying to pose like they are on the back of the box. Enjoy!

*- When I run out of figures for the contest, feel free to PM me if you are interested in taking over and giving away some of your own figures. *- If you win and do not want the figure you can request to have me take it to a charity or donation center nearby.

Good idea dude! Sadly All the comics I DO own I don't own figures of! Odd haha. Good luck to everyone and remember to have fun! =D.

You don't need to have the comic in hand to go off of Tiberius, it can be a picture of a panel or piece of comic art from from google image search if need be. ;D

EDIT: changed the size requirement on pics to 500 x 700 pixels (since 5 x 5, would warp the shit out of some pictures, lol)

intresting idea and i pulled this picture off , similar but not quite but it works well and it was as close as i could get it also there is not photoshop at all !!!! its all to do with gravity etc and balance so this is what i came up with

enjoy it looks very good i think and i thought of the idea when i played marvel ultimate alliance and thought it has to possible so i pulled it off

This looks great man, I've always had so much trouble getting a proper fast ball special to work with my figures and it looks like you figured out one nice way to do it!

*General comments on the pics are welcome as well, as the entrants would appreciate it and its actually why I created the thread in the first place.

* To Vote for an entry, quote the pic and put "I vote for ____"

Rules have been changed slightly as well,

* Voting ends tomorrow FRIDAY 24th at 11:59 PM. I'll then tally the votes and announce the winner early Saturday morning (I will also send out the figure that day, as long as the winner PM's me their shipping info that day. Otherwise it will wait and be shipped monday)
