Glad to hear it. I think 4H may want to reconsider retail, or at least a much larger production runs for their Con and online supplies.
Personally, I'd love a full-on revival of the the property, but I know it's in 80's niche territory. So the chances of there being enough support for that are slim to none.

They definitely were way off the mark with their expectations on sales. I think they based them off of their other lines but they missed some key points. 1) They were selling Troops. Troops bring out troop builders. I myself bought 5 (their max) of each for that reason. 2) They are interchangeable with other Glyos figures (sort of like Iron Man Assemblers but with, y'know, actual articulation <-suck it Hasbro) 3) They are 3.75" so buying multiples doesn't clog the shelf. 4) The exclusives are in great color schemes (Black and White troops). 5) Figs are $10 each, which these days is considered reasonable (which is kind of scary but I digress) So when they announce they were selling 125 figs at con and 125 at Store Horsemen you had to figure they wouldn't last more than 4 minutes (hell with a max of 5 that could sell out in the first 25 buyers). I bought the figs not because I am a Power Lords fan (in fact, while I had the Mosquito looking bad guy as kid I never found them interesting) but a GI Joe/MU fan and these figs scream custom and army builder. If the fig had been an Alien with the 4 arms or the giant goofy head I think you would still be able to buy one now. My guess is that in the end the 4H crew realize this and produce a ton of variant Soldier and Elite Soldiers in different colors. Smart move would be for them to gear new figures in the line to this model as well so as to maximize sales (like the Horde troopers in the He-Man Classics line). As for the rest of the "non-exclusive" line I plan to buy more troops and elites and maybe an Adam Power or three for customs and leave the giant goofy alien guys on their website to collect dust.
