I'm guessing Skelegod is part of the "Event" that happens halfway through episode 1 that changes the tone from Filmation's show to a more serious tone.

Looks like Skeletor can unleash the power of Greyskull and bulk up like Prince Adam.

TINY heads!!

WTF, they are about half the size they should be.

I wonder if they will be making any other iterations of the characters?
I don't like the animated cartoony faces

Moss Man looks pretty damn cool. Skelegod reminds me of MOTUC Faceless One.

Im guessing this is the event that seperates the two Parts of the show... Classic designs and such for the first half then Skelly gets godhood and Fs stuff up and then Part 2 is the aftermath and time lapse where we see the new outfit designs (Teela etc)

I'll get Moss Man, he looks like a fun monster guy, but I won't be getting too many from the line I think.

Not gonna get these, who am I kidding. I don't think anybody will top the vintage He-Man head in design. Classics all the way. They look too much like kids toys.

Edit: Nevermind. Buried in the press release it says major retailers. I might get Evil-Lyn if she's available on Amazon. The rest are easy passes. MOTUC figures look significantly better (even the Grayskull editions).

I wasn't interested in these until I saw these pics. But I'll still sit tight until I see where the Origins line is going.

Skelegod looks like Skeletor merged with Gurren Lagann.

Evil-Lyn looks like she belongs in Avatar, especially with the alternate head.

Rest look OK I guess.

He-Man looks like he just ran into someone at Starbucks that he went to high school with but can't remember the name of. He wants to come off as pleasant while not letting on that he has no idea who he's talking to.

Nothing will beat Classics. They are truly classics and timeless sculpts. The Four Horsemen did an amazing job.

What pulls you into these more so than the Master Of The Universe Classics line? (serious question)

Does anyone else think Skeletor's head looks to be cast in a semi-translucent plastic?

How come everyone essentially has their classic designs, except Evil-Lyn, who looks completely different?

Yeah, my first thought was that she was straight out of Katara's water tribe.

I agree 100%.

However, I'm still on the fence. I'll decide when I have them in hand.

I have a few He-Man figures... Mondo, Mattel’s Classics, etc, and I 100% think these fit in the pantheon of He-Man toys perfectly. They are somewhere between the 200x line and classics. Good detail, decent sculpts, and look child friendly. I absolutely LOVE cringer’s head under Battlecat’s helmet.

These just look great. Origins looks good for inexpensive modernized 80’s toys, but I’ve only seen adults looking at them. Nothing about them seems to appeal to kids. Hopefully Mattel did their homework and these aren’t going to be aimed at middle-aged men.
