Thanks for the pics and info.
Wow these look so bad...
sooooo let me guess this straight, hasbro is charging you more to assemble your own action figures?
So much ugly where there should be so much awesome. :(
Frankly, I'm surprised these aren't ages 3+. My twin two-year-olds would love a couple of these for their birthday next month.
Assemblers are kind of neat. They could still have elbows and knees though! Hell, Toy Biz Junkpile from the X-Men 2099 toyline had that feature with elbow and knee articulation plus removable armor!
Sometimes I wonder if this is deliberate by Hasbro to make consumers buy more MU. It's either that, or the licensing costs on the films is getting out of hand. |
Well this is disappointing... More money to put towards Retaliation, I guess.
I cant wait to be disappointed every time i walk into the toy isle. Makes the IM2 figs look like masterpieces. Im gonna laugh if this crap doesn't move off shelves. Theyre not still charging 10 a piece are they?
ugn transforms into a car?? dude flys at mach 3 or some crap like that but he turns to a car?? for what purpose??

They were alright, theyre no MU for sure. But they are still way better than what we are seeing now.

It's a damn shame Hasbro couldn't have balanced that with a 3.75" line that was at the same level of quality as the IM2 toys. I mean, even if it was all just different version of Iron Men like it seems to be, if it shared the articulation and detail of the IM2 toys, I'd be far less disappointed. (And really, not even a movie version of Mandarin? Jeez.) |

Great detail and articulation overall. It just was mostly Iron Man armors, but whatever, at least it was a nice mixture of comic and movie armors. |
More retail barf.
Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshalls 2014. Dollar store 2015. Landfill 2016.
Give or take a couple months. |
Wow these things are not going to sell. I wonder if the person at Hasbro that had this 'new action figure marketing idea' will loose their job if they do fail to perform?
epic fail, total crap who ever decided to cut quality on articulation and sculpt show lose their jobs. Hasbro will be very surprised to see this entire line fail.
WoW, words cannot experss the shittyness of these happy meal toys! to make up for it the "main line" I've herd so much speculation about, but not seen, better have real freekin lazers!
I have to say though that Hello Kitty starlight projector looks damn impressive.
I thought the "Assemblers" were the main line?
*sigh* So disappointing. |
iron man 3 toys are the new green lantern.
at least GL had multiple charactures and decent sculpts, they were crap, but at least they were crap with effort behind them. this is more akin to some kind of third world knock off.
They look like the toys from that Iron man 3-d cartoon that TRU used to have tons of forever, really don't know the name of it.
Do the new 3.75 figures remind anyone else of the little Marvel figures that used to pop up at Family Dollar? The selection that consisted of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America.
