Is this set from a story arc? I want these figures, they're just so random. Almost looks like some that didn't make the cut for regular waves.

I can't believe they are making big profile villains like Enchantress and Purple Man exclusives. And in a pack with ANOTHER Spider-Man.

Oh yeah, where is Sandman? I don't see anyone in that pic that looks like him.

It's Sandman when he turns completely to sand.

For what I can tell, Spidey it's just a repaint of the Pizza Spidey buck with the Scarlet Spider head simulating the McFarlane Suit, good idea for a classic Spidey, but as an exclusive? shame on you Hasbro!
Hope they re-release Sandman in a future wave tho

Wow, I did not notice that. God that picture is terrible. I can't even make out who the blue and purple (I think) dude is, what version of Spider-Man they are doing, and what the green arm thing to the side is.

To be honest, I wouldn't have even known that was Purple Man in there if someone didn't point it out.

I would ask one of you guys \ gals to get one to who are going to SDCC this year
but shipping is going to be killer , ah and that tax , wonder if one of my stores will get one for the UK.

I'm not happy at all that Enchantress is an exclusive. She needs a mass release.

Kinda dig that Purple man but not enough to go through the hassle to get it.

I dig it. It has a very Vault feel to it. Maybe that's the theme? The super prison and Spider-Man for some reason.

It's annoying but I hope that since it's the all sand colored Sandman it means that a regular version will be released at retail soon.

Well looks like I'll be going to Hasbro's website the day these go on sale there since I want Enchantress and the Purple Man.

I believe they did this set because of the new MCU Spider-Man homecoming movie tie in, just like they did the Dr Strange box for last year for his movie coming up this year, abd tieing it to the comics from the last Vault prison break out.

Well, the first arc of Bendis' New Avengers was called "Breakout," and featured various supervillains escaping the Raft. Spider-Man was one of the heroes there, and Purple Man was there, so it seems to be a recreation of that.

As for the others? Yup, it's a random assortment alright.

Yeah, I don't see how having 2 out of 6 Spidey characters makes it a Spidey set.

That's the story line that I remembered but yeah it was the Raft not the Vault, so they're probably trying to mix it up a bit.

Maybe we'll get lucky and have a slight variant for mass release, like how Dormamu(is that how you spell it)and Star Lord had.

If abomination is in the new Cap wave as a baf,
then i only need 3 figures from that wave as i want crossbones , iron skull maybe , and Cap Britain. if i bought this set
Seeing as this a Six figure set which is a huge set might cost more than a case of MLs
either way i need to pay alot for abomination, I think i have quickly grown on this set, enchantress would look good in my collection , as well as purple man.
not sure to keep sandman as the toy biz one is far superior with those swap-able pieces, if i can remove those spidey hands then cool i will buy another spider-man..
Dreadknight is pretty cool as well...
I might get it though varies on price at the end of the day

This is a good "masters of evil" set as well

Marvel Legends is kicking ass this year I preordered the x men wave because it's the first wave of all good characters since I ever saw marvel Legends in stores back when I collected toy biz
