MEGO Deadpool #2 look pretty nice.

CasualCollector 02-19-2017 09:04 AM

Diamond Select making moves!

They aren't always the best, but having a season 1 Netflix Daredevil is nice, plus can be easily painted for Season 2. Will be a nice offering as an alternative/second option for the Marvel Legends version. Plus that head sculpt is nice. Would have opted for a battle damaged head instead, but I won't complain about a Matt Murdock head.

MEGO Deadpool 2 is unique enough, and the Marvel Select Homecoming Spidey looks nice! Just hope there's a version with accessories and Tom Holland head.

Star-Lord was supposed to come with Rocket, right? Surprised we don't see that here. And the eyes are supposed to be red aren't they? Or is it blue in some shots?

Anyway, Diamond Selet can happily take my money.

I am digging the Ghosebusters stuff. Insanely nice and affordable. Great value. Those DIO's they are doing are insane in a good way.

Joe Moore 02-19-2017 09:30 AM

They had some other stuff on display, that we weren't permitted to take photos of. Those included Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, new Star Trek Borg, some statues.

Something2day 02-19-2017 09:49 AM

That's gotta be the best Netflix Daredevil headsculpt yet (both of them), that Spider-Man looks good too but they gotta stop using that crotch joint.

LordSagat 02-19-2017 11:23 AM

Finally a MS Daredevil

Daredevil already comes with a battle damaged head. That's how it looked after Melvin patched it up for him after his first fight with Punisher. He's wearing his season 2 costume as well so I'm wondering if he'll include a Season 2 alternate head as well.

Marvelfangirl 02-19-2017 01:01 PM

Is the Star Lord head next to Drax for the Star Lord statue? OR THE MARVEL SELECT HEAD??

ATF 02-19-2017 01:29 PM

Wow that Vigo & Yanosh from Ghostbusters 2 was unexpected. They look great so far and are must haves!

Stranger 02-19-2017 02:02 PM

Why did they go with the cracked dome for Daredevil?... they could have had a clean and damaged version. Though would have much prefered a clean version...

I was about to come in here and ask if they had anything for Star Trek on display. Seems odd that they wouldn't allow photos of the new Select figure since they teased that one not too long ago.

I'll have to see if I can find a description of it somewhere online. I'm curious to know if it's a generic Borg or maybe something more specific like Hugh.

Dolemite 02-19-2017 04:29 PM

Wow, the Hasbro Marvel Legends Spider Gwen released last year looks so much better than Diamond Select's version it's not even funny.

ddarko 02-19-2017 05:03 PM

How tall are the Batman Animated Series statues? Did they already release some of the statues in the past or is this a new line?

EDIT: Oh, and how much are they :)?

Thinwheat 02-19-2017 06:59 PM

Netflix Daredevil looks good, but why does the alternate head have glasses? Murdock never wore his shades with his suit, it was always when he was in his civilian attire. Seems like a waste of an alternate head in that case. The likeness is great though. I would have preferred to get a season 2 all red suit instead, but I'll still pick this up.

djblizzard 02-19-2017 08:30 PM

Vigo looks great! I really hope they make the Scoleri Brothers, and soon...I've been waiting my whole life for good figures of the Scoleris. The Mattel versions were too small and poorly articulated.

I hate it too. It makes for very little articulation too, Especially in Spider-Man

I was afraid that I was the only one thinking that

I honestly can't find a single site reporting on anything Diamond select had on-display for Star Trek... other than Joe's quick mention in this thread...

Just a guess, but if they had any starships on-display it would have probably just been the Romulan BoP. By the sounds of it they aren't going to reveal the next ship till the Reliant is close to being released, and if they had anything more than an image on-display for the reliant I'm sure it would be reported about all over the place.

I can't even find a description of the Borg figure...

Skoob 02-20-2017 01:35 AM

Thanks. Life goes on.

Omanlew 02-20-2017 06:16 AM

Whats the difference between Gallery statue and Premier? They literally look of the same quality...

evilekim 02-20-2017 07:57 AM

Love the TMNT 80s cartoon Minimates! The Vigo sculpt is awesome as well, so much better than the Mattel version!

Toonstrack 02-20-2017 11:51 AM

Since I got the Rocket and Gamora set already, I'll prolly just use this 7'' scale for my Marvel stuff. That being said, the Spider-Gwen and Holland Spidey look pretty good. And that Star Lord is the best Vol 2 one we've gotten yet IMO.

Weapon X 02-20-2017 12:05 PM

I was hoping they'd show the bases for the Gotham figures :(
