After getting a pretty good handle on the 'S' symbol after Superboy I finally got around to getting a Superman in scale to the rest of my DC customs.

Head - MU Namor

TheLongestDay 05-24-2012 04:11 AM

that is AWESOME!!! (I would say SUPER but yknow?....bad pun and all that...)

Saint Phe 05-24-2012 04:47 AM

Best 1:18 scale Superman I've ever seen! So awesome!

bmorr 05-24-2012 05:23 AM

i wish i could paint that carefully. did you use gladiator for that? I used the same body to make a vision custom. Also, how do you keep paint from flaking at the joints?

scottmurdock 05-24-2012 08:30 AM

Fan *freakin'* tastic!

tlasjr 05-24-2012 09:26 AM

I love it. did you paint the symbol freehand? What did you use for the hair?

stjuggernaut 05-24-2012 10:31 AM

Symbiote 05-24-2012 11:12 AM

Very clean looking and well done.

Snailbot 05-24-2012 11:24 AM

You didn't make this, you stole it from Hasbro's upcoming DCU line! Just kidding of course, but that's how good it looks! Seriously, awesome job!

KingLouie731 05-24-2012 12:00 PM

WOW that is so sweet I'd buy one if I saw that in the store

Excellent work OP.

Thanks so much guys the posts always mean a lot!!

Head - MU Namor
Cape - MU Gladiator
Body - MU Captain Britain

'S' symbol was freehand painted.

Used green stuff epoxy for the hair.

Unfortunately I usually do not worry about joints as I leave my figures in a standard position for display, but if I plan on doing one that needs to move I will do three very light white primer layers moving the joints in between each and one final color coat using a micro brush for joint areas with some clear coat mixed in.

Again Thanks All!!
