If you're on your lunch break and run into a retail outlet and before picking up lunch you scout the toy isle and find an item you want or need and it costs $10, exact amount you have left in your pocket, do you get lunch or get the toy? Do you take the chance it will be there tomorrow when you get paid, or go hungry for the day?

i would say goodbye food espcially if it was the one figure i really wanted and for $10 !!!! rare ocasion might never come again , and you'll have to comment on "the look at what i passed up thread" and $10 get it ! plus you can live without food fo a day :) better yet you should've made a pack lunch :P

If you're really that hungry, bend it, then hide it a few aisles over. And depending on how cool the figure is (ScarJo), the buzz you get from buying it can keep you going until dinner.

LOL....during my 25th joe days Scalpers would piss me off soooo bad I would actually bend the cards to detour them from going to Ebay....needless to say I had joes here in tn. I dont do it anymore because well it was wrong.....

ive been collecting so long ive learned not to go into the store without money.lunch for me is always around $4 so when i get paid i walk in the aisles before work buy whatever i need before lunch even starts.
