Guardians of the Galaxy (Spoilers)
 

So the rumors have been floating around for awhile now, and after I saw Avengers and Thanos in the end scene, it dawned on me those rumors could be true. Saw this today, thought I'd share with you guys...I hope its true....the Guardians of the Galaxy has been my favorite comic and group of characters for the past few yrs...anything cosmic/galactic is right up my alley. Me: "Guardians of the Galaxy? Oh, I hope there's Rocket Raccoon."
Article: "...expect Nova..."
Me: "Aaaand I'm out."

Saw this, but the source seems to be that same Latino Review place that also claimed recently that the next movie would be Black Panther...so who knows?

Being a fan of GotG and Nova I would personally love for this to be true. I do have two simple requests though if this happens.

1. Nathan Fillion as Starlord
2. Joss Whedon directs it since I doubt anyone else could possibly get this right.

Did I just basically ask for another movie in the Firefly series? Lol

You don't like Nova? Pretty sure to the racoon will be there if this movie happens. You don't like Nova? :(

Btw Richard Rider is the only Nova I care to see on screen. If its that Sam Alexander douche....Aaaand I'm out.

Nova and rocket raccoon directed by Joss Whedon! that is what I want...plus Drax, starlord, bug, groot, Flag, moondragon, Gamora, mantis, Victory, phyla-Vel, and adam warlock!! how can you not love that! gotta have drax to square off against Thanos, and if they bring in the gauntlet, you gotta have warlock....just hope they dont screw this all up some how

All Novas are incredibly boring to me :/ Actual most of "Marvel Cosmic" is.

If they do it, and Groot isn't in the team, I am out. I mean... I AM GROOT!

I wouldn't be getting hopes up. There's way to many rumors flying around.

Ant-Man Test Film Shot - IGN

Guess we'll find out in two weeks at SDCC. If they don't announce the mystery 2014 movie then I'd be very surprised.

Gotta make this movie happen. They set up for thanos and they should hit avengers 2 with all they got! I swear if it's just the same 6 heroes in the first avengers vs thanos I'm gonna weep

It would be cool, but I don't think a GoTG movie would do very well at the box office.

Or I think they'd at least need to be introduced first in a more mainstream movie (like Avengers 2) to gain some interest and make people aware of who they are. This isn't an insult to them, or their fans, but in the real world they aren't that popular.

that's ok. it'd be fitting since even in the comic it's like:

"That's right, we just saved the whole of reality. We're the Guardians of the Galaxy."

"...who?"

GotG is my ALLTIME FAVORITE team and a movie would kick ass!
Definitely go with Fillion and Whedon- they would make that incredible.

GotG would be welcome. And/or Ant-Man too. As long as Marvel Studios keep up the quality on the releases, the more the merrier.

Guardians of the Galaxy Movie to be Announced at SDCC - IGN

Awwwwww yeah!

Sooo stoked for this movie! All I need now is conformation of Richard Rider and not that new Sam Alexander character and all will be good in my marvel movie world.

I want D&A to write it- they did the entire series (and Nova!) so they should be involved.

oh man, i really hope this means we'll get a decent sized groot. was close to modifying a treebeard or farming it for parts to use. wonder what MU will be by if there's even a hint of it left.

It'll be around in some form or another- besides, customizers can keep their collections going, right?

Can you guys even imagine the possibilities of the toyline for this movie. Its like opening pandoras box of cosmic marvel. Even better, watch Hasbro surprise us with having bought the rights for ROM(I wish).

if this happens, the movie & toyline, I hope they also do the 30th century Guardians as well in the comic series
