Wal-Mart raising prices on DC Universe

Here in North Carolina, I have been to 2 different Wal-Marts and see that they have raised the price on DC Universe Classics figures from $12.97 to $14.97. Anyone know why the increase in price and is this just in the NC area? Also, has Target raised their prices on DC Universe as well?
