God these look awesome. I haven't bought a Play Arts figure in years but these and the newer ones are significant improvements over the 1st releases.

I'm impressed by the articulation, but I wonder how durable the joints will be.

Yup, they improve with every series. I have many of them and they are great.

Most problems I have seen with Play Arts are stuck joints out of packaging that breaking fairly soon trying to loosen them. So as long as that doesn't happen, you should be set.
