The title says it all, as much as a lot of us have seen and posted swap characters, I figure why not make a game out of it:p
Name that swapped figure...

Let's see..Whiplash for Mandarin in the first. Spiderman for Jean Grey, comic pack Sinister for boxset one, Silver Surfer for Iceman, comic pack Cyclops for boxset one, and the most horrendous of all...Iron Man for Angel? So what'd I win?;) Oh repacked figures right?

Jason Abbadon 08-11-2012 06:24 PM

It's teling that they did not swap Frankenberry there...

Tiberius 08-11-2012 06:50 PM

That's the second time I've seen someone swap in a Sea Assault Drone. Why would someone do that? Anyway, the swapper on that X-Men pack has brass balls.

proteus 08-12-2012 01:04 AM

Hahahahahahahaaha awesomeness!!! Im telling you repacks are going to be the new hot items!! Think of the endless possibilities for variants!!! Has anyone got the cantina Alien Gigantic Battle pack to repost here??? I NEVER get tired of seeing that!!!

Jason Abbadon 08-12-2012 01:21 AM

I think for CHristmas I'll tell various Arkers I got them whatever the hard to find figure is and send them a swapped out 3.75" Cantina Alien on the MU card.
I just gotta find that set cheap enough...

Maybe once I get the figs, I'll make a bunch of pics of MU teams in action with a characters swapped- like having a Cantina alien with Cap's shield, leading the Avengers...

trekking95 08-12-2012 02:22 AM

What is so special about Cantina aliens?
And by the way I have the tin box they made a few years ago with the four of them in it! :D

Jason Abbadon 08-12-2012 03:53 AM

The first "Cantina Swap" we posted about was a 12" Cantina Alien swapped for a GIgantic Battles Frost Giant and returned- someone found it on a shelf and snapped a pic.

Thus the legend began....and the swapping has gotten more blatant from there.
Just once I'd love to see some weasal (loudly) get busted at the returns desk by someone with a clue.

This is just funny as hell though

There was a post some time back on another site about a guy at Target that busted a dude trying to do that. He was standing behind the guy and noticed it was swapped out. Cops got called and everything after a scene was made.

Yup

I went to go pick it back up because I had three different people tell me they each wanted one of the figures but by the time I got back there it was gone.

They same d-bag that did it probably saw the post and went back and bought it!

Boba Fettuccini 08-12-2012 08:38 PM

why would somebody pack in the Navy drone? Those were htf

TheDub 08-12-2012 09:04 PM

If I had known this was a thing I would have taken a picture of a DCU Batman that was put in an Atom package sitting at Walmart. I went back the next day and it was gone.

trebleshot 08-13-2012 06:15 AM

I don't always see repacks, but when I do, I think it's awesome:

MIAMI (AP) — A mother and son stole more than $2 million in expensive toys by stashing them inside the boxes of cheaper products that they bought at Toys R Us stores across the U.S., authorities say.

Does Florida have the death penalty? :haha

Tiberius 08-13-2012 03:44 PM

Yes, they do XD.

It was just a bunch of leapfrog laptops & Lego sets that they stole, not really repackers since they never brought any of the stuff back. But, I really hate repackers.

It is interesting that they were busted because the guy tried to get rewards on all the crap they were buying in addition to packing that stuff full of other items they weren't paying for. If he hadn't used the rewards card on his purchases, I wonder how long it would have been before he got caught.
