I don't know why Marvel decided to change who Venom was, eddie brock is the true venom? I don't know who the current venom is, Flash?

Yup that's correct, Eddie is Toxin now I believe...

I'm so glad that they only made 1 version instead of making us buy 4 seperate ones.

Flash Thompson's Venom is bad ass. He has some technology that Pym developed to keep the Symbiote under control (until the last issue that is) and he lost his legs in war so it's actually a symbiotic relationship because he uses the suit to have legs. But it's under his control so he's not trying to eat people :) He's a gun toting bad ass.

Also Eddie Brock was dying of cancer at one point so the symbiote rejected Eddie since he was too weak. So Eddie isn't the true venom. He's just the Classic.

Mac Gargan was Venom for a while thanks to Osborn making his Dark Avengers during Dark Reign. Not sure how he lost it (didn't read that arc)


And Eddie Brock went on a symbiote killing spree like it was a religious cleansing lol. He just recently (like last month) ended up bonding to Toxin. And it wasn't his choice either

Why the hell can't Eddie stay as Anti Venom, I liked that whole "i'm trying to cure people not kill them, stop shooting at me!" thing he had going.

Now they kille off a decent unused character to make Eddie the same as his 90's counter part....
Really bad choice....

Flash VEnom, however, is awesome, and is the only marvel legend figure I would buy.

Completely forgot to mention that although I won't be buying it, it is one amazing figure!

Buying 3! Brad + Angelina = Brangelina. Eddie + Symbiote = Venom. Flash with the symbiote should be a different name. Just more marketing bs! Flash is a paramilitary guy as Venom, interesting but he's just like a symbiote wearing Punisher. Brock is a deeper character who had a bad week with cancer, lost job and his wife leaving him fell hard and was working at redemption! Sure hope he comes back in white one of these days! He was written so poorly in the Flash/Venom series that it made me gag. The writer of the Anti-Venom series had him down!

I totally agree man, Venom has always been my favorite comic book baddie but I only really started getting into comics during the epic 3-part Spidey Marvel Knights series ("Down Among the Dead Men, Venomous, Last Stand")
and loved the direction they were going with Venom....

...Then in "New Ways to Die" when Venom attacked Eddie at the shelter and Anti-Venom was born I totally fell in love with the concept and design of the character. The mini-series was great too, and it really annoys me now that Anti-Venom seems to be gone since that was such an interesting way for Eddie's character to go.... hopefully marvel will bring him back someday though... :/

*fanboy rant/gushing over*

Anyway, about the figure. I am seriously impressed as all hell by this figure...seriously looks like the best Venom figure ever! :D I'm buying 20x! lol
