Son is Begging for Lego City Police Station
 

My son is begging me for the Lego City Police Station, but it's so much money! Does anyone have any experience with this one? I would like to know what people think about it and if it's worth the money? My son loves Lego's, but I don't know if he'll play with this enough to warrant spending the money. What do you think? Second, the listing is actually for an older set (#7237) from 2005. It's OOP, hence the price. There are newer and far more affordable versions available. In fact, for roughly the same price as that set, you could get a couple of the newer sets and still have all the features of the first one. I would recommend these:

In fact, the video attached to the link you provided doesn't even show set 7237. It actually shows sets 7288 and 7744.

I'm a big fan of 7288 myself...my nephew has had that on his desk in various states of play for months...
