3.75" Batman from Guardian

Hi there! I had just the right parts for a custom I've been meaning to get around to, 3.75" Batman:

Mr Wayne was constructed using 4 different figures. The base body and head belong to Guardian. The ears are sculpted. The glove spikes and plastic cape came from DCIC Batman. The boots, gloves, lower arms and legs belonged to Captain America, with the pouches and laces sanded down. The belt also belonged to Cap. The cloth part of the cape came from some random Batman figure from long ago.

this is hella sweet! has enough articulation like the microman version but twice the muscle bulk! :D

Excelsior07 04-02-2010 04:13 PM

That is simply amazing! Bravo, my friend, bravo.

Ghost Story 04-02-2010 05:46 PM

very cool, what are the playsets?

miraclefan 04-02-2010 07:53 PM

Why can't Mattel do this?

eisen 04-02-2010 08:04 PM

because they hate their fans. *this poster is butthurt over DCIH*

Excelsior07 04-02-2010 08:24 PM

LOL, I have to agree with eisen. When has DC ever had fans vote on what figures they'd like to see?

Tarquinius 04-02-2010 08:42 PM

Um all I can is say is WOW

Autobot_Goldbug 04-03-2010 01:40 PM

Cool!
How about a back view? I'm just wondering if your cape looks as good from the back.

scarecrow 04-03-2010 01:55 PM

This is a hell of a lot better than I thought it would be. It fits perfectly with the other figures, even for being a DC character.

Prem1x 04-03-2010 02:04 PM

It took me a while to get that this was a custom. I thought it was a 3.75 Batman that had come with some playset. I was wanting one pretty bad! Nice job.

ludovicotek 04-03-2010 02:47 PM

Incredible! I really want one.

Various stands that came with some of the original Marvel Legends figures, and the computer consoles are on the inside of a GI Joe mobile base vehicle.

How do you get the defined muscle look? Also what kind of paint? I'm thinking of doing a Carnage.
