Hi just wondering where i can find translucent paint. prefer brick and motar stores if possible. u know the kind that shows up under black light and also where to get books marvel u sized.

Got my ministry of magic and want to get them loaded up with some magic books, necronomicons, grimoire's, tablets of power. and a shit load of supernatural looking glyphs that would only appear under black light.

Depends where you live. But most hobbie stores sell Tamiya clear paints (which don't glow under a black light) or Testors, which do

Go on ebay and search under dollhouse minitures, 1:18 scale, and you will find plenty of sellers, with books, bookcases, lamps, funiture etc. Translucent paint is basically a clear coat with dye added. So you can either buy regular paint and water it down a lot for a faint painted look, or get a clear cloat paint/spray paint and add pigment into it, automotive painting supply place would be a good place to look for that. You can also get glow in the dark paint which would look cool under a black light, you can buy black light paint I believe, and I know you can buy invisible ink pens that only show up under uv light. hope that helps.

You can buy glow in the dark paint at walmart. It should be either in a small 99 bottle from Apple Barrel? Or some old thyme sounding company or... Kills makes a really nice pint of glow in the dark paint for 5,99 all at wall mart.
