Pretty excited for this show also, after seeing the great job they did with GL:TAS, and the fact that this show will get a, or some, toys I hope it will last more than one season

I think that looks really good. Given the show's design, I wasn't sure how this would work as an action figure. Definitely going to get this and Anarky.

You have to try pretty hard to make Justice League figures look good.

Yeesh. Are kids not going to be scared of this thing? I'm 22 and mildly creeped out by the alien nature of that effed up anatomy.

Speaking of the design in general for the show, and not necessarily the figure itself: I wouldn't even classify this as stylized. More like half-assed, like there was no effort or thought put into it at all. At least the GL series was based on Bruce Tim designs.

Ugh, it looks horrible IMO. Sad that great series get cancelled for something that looks that bad. Hopefully the story/writing will at least be good.

I don't think most kid's fears are based on bitter cynicism.

As much as I like Bruce Tim's stuff, he's art style is not really all that "stylized" anymore. Bruce's stuff has more become a standard now. Which is why you see character designs like this. The whole idea of doing stylized designs is to create something that brakes out of tedium, which is what the Bruce Tim style has become.

Funny enough I actually remember my uncle had basically the same attiude toward Bruce Tim's Batman design as most of the people in here have about this new one. Slightly different reasons, but same attitude.

I actually dig the style, reminds me of cool fan art but seeing it like this as a mass market action figure and in a such a boring pose...doesn't work lol.
