Underworld Throwing Stars Replica
|
Sometimes I wonder how certain things get made. Like, how many people are really begging to drop $250 on throwing stars from Underworld? I guess they are hoping at least 750 people. Not that stuff like this isn't cool but I can't imagine having so much money and space to waste that I would buy it. Maybe a functional replica for like $35-$45 or something. idk, didn't think throwing stars cost much to make.

The regular toy-focused collector likely isn't going to drop money on these. But there's actually a huge market for movie prop replicas out there. Not every property is a massive hit, but I've been noticing more and more that these high end collectibles tend to sell well enough to make them worth it, and usually outside North America.

Didn't think of overseas. I love movie props and the high end limited edition stuff is usually more of an investment but I see so many odd props from fringe IP that it surprises me sometimes. All the prop stuff I have are big names like LOTR, Star Wars, Marvel, etc. Iconic stuff like the the Portal gun I understand. Even the full size Mass Effect weapons I know will have a market but the small nic-naks like this puzzle me at those prices.
