Star Wars Black Series | Stormtrooper
1 Attachment(s)
I simply couldn't wait for Series 3 of the 6" Black Series to come around so I've taken to cleaning up a Sandtrooper to get me through the year. I took the figure and with a lacquer thinner I rubbed out all the Tattoine filth from all the nooks and crannies. Pretty simple altogether. You want to make sure that whatever vehicle you use for the thinner that you dont just wash it on liberally. The black paint is just as thin as the 'weathering" paint it seems.

Nice. I've been ignoring the sandtrooper because I just want a regular stormtrooper. I didn't even consider just cleaning it up! Next time I see one I'm snagging it and using your technique.
Thanks! |
I'm wanting to do this so bad!
