Dr Who across the pond?
 

Hey guys, new boy here. Just browsing the forums and posts and enjoying the site thoroughly but I noticed no mention of Dr Who. Is this an anti Brit thing or does his TARDIS not travel across the pond too well?

Any fans of the Doctor State side?

Oh, i'm sure you'll find that there are plenty of WHO fans everywhere you go

If anything it's hard to be a fan in the US merchandise wise.

Yeah but out of all the cool figures about it's only the Dr where we have advantage. Pretty much everything else we have to shop for state side :(

So much never gets released here that when it turns up on eBay uk site what cost you guys $10 in Wallmart cost us $50 due to profiteering :(

Still that's life I guess.

I only just recently binge watched the show on Netflix (like two months ago). I enjoyed some it more than other parts but it's solid. There are plenty of fans here but it's not some that gets a ton of discussion I think. I only see the merch at comic shops and I think most of the fans here are very casual about it. Stuff like Star Wars and super heroes are more of the things geeks obsess about here.
