NECA Announces New Scalers Line of Collectible Figures - The Toyark - News

Not bad, pretty cool actually. I can see hanging a rope off the side of my shelves, and adding these guys to it over time. Extra collection space FTW!

Pretty cool. I can see these guys being used on the chords to my window shades. I like 'em.

Cute. If they're cheap, I could see getting a few as well.

It'd be even cooler if Mattel was willing (and legally able) to make a deal with NECA to do Adam West and Burt Ward as the Dynamic Duo. I think that would look hilarious on the side of my bookshelf.

Why would Mattel need to make the deal? I don't think they own the license to the tv Batman. NECA is making that 1/4 scale TV Bats, and I think they mentioned a Robin was on the way, so it's possible we could see them as part of this new Scalers line.

crap, another collection I need to start now...

WB owns the rights to the show. I believe doing Scalers of them would require a separate license from the one that NECA currently has and I think Mattel's deal would cover figures in the same scale as the Scalers.

I will be very happy if proven wrong, though.
