Why? $20 for an imported, super detailed, amazingly painted figure with accessories and a stand seems more than reasonable.

Ah, I see what you mean. Definitely a tough thing for the army builders out there.

Shut Up and Take My Money

I preordered 4 of these! Joe scaled Aliens? Not flimsy snap kits? Averaging a third of the snap kit prices on ebay? SOLD!! Come on guys, this is nothing compared to the nightmares on ebay

tlasjr 02-11-2014 10:18 AM

Too much. I have two microman alien warriors which means if I cant army build these they are useless to me.

Sorrow Bringer 02-11-2014 11:00 AM

This is looking great but its too pricey. Will stick with ghe larger NECA ALIENS.

Ninjinister 02-11-2014 02:57 PM

Yeah, it is a bit of a wallet-hurter, especially considering I'd just be using it for a custom. The super fine-ass detail wouldn't be a factor in that case. If I were collecting it as-is, though, it'd be a different story.

JustryGT 02-11-2014 04:06 PM

This is exciting news to me. I am alright with the price as long as the finished product looks close to the photos above. I am only ordering one though at first but I will be watching Hiya toys for any more figures they decide to make like this.

Dragasses 02-11-2014 05:05 PM

this all day long.

I only got one, though. the mortgage has still gotta get paid.

mj3141x 02-11-2014 07:13 PM

Wow. That looks pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to seeing the others in the series. $20 is going to add up quick if the rest of the line looks like this but I'm in!

sampaul35 02-11-2014 09:56 PM

Please let there be some Colonial Marines released too. What does it take to get 3 3/4 super articulated Colonial Marines with removable gear and signature weapons?

snake5289 02-12-2014 12:07 AM

Let me know if they make a Predator.

r3v3n63 02-12-2014 12:52 AM

No. Not for $20, I have no intention to support this new price trend for 1/18th scale figures.

Starscream99 02-12-2014 02:19 AM

Sweet! I may get one but I'm more pumped for the MosterArts ones. Do have the Rise if the Planet of the Apes Caesar from Hiya Toys and thats a really good figure. From the looks of their website this is a newish company and I'd like to support them as much as I can.

itMFtis 02-12-2014 06:42 AM

Hopefully they are not as brittle as some of the Injustice stuff.

I was looking at the photos on theToySource and was wondering which one I like better.
From these photos, I notice the differences on the head and I would assume that each figure will have slightly different paint. Later tonight, I will pop in the movie to try to spot the Lurkers and Soldiers.
Are there any Aliens experts that can tell me which scenes each type would be best known for?

aliens colonial marines is the game and not the movie. although the top one looks a little like the original alien design with the foggy head while the second looks like the warrior from aliens...
